Round 21 - South Adelaide V Eagles

Please be advised that the details for Round 21 South Adelaide v Eagles have changed for all grades.

The League Match will now be played on Friday 26 August at 7:40pm with the Macca’s Cup Match being played beforehand.

The Reserves will play as a stand alone Match on Saturday August 27.

Friday August 26 – South Adelaide v Eagles – Hickinbotham Oval

League – 7:40pm

Under 18’s – 4:55pm

Saturday August 27 – South Adelaide v Eagles – Unleash Solar Oval (Woodville Oval)

Reserves – 11:25am

Please be advised that the details for Round 23 South Adelaide v Norwood have changed for all grades.

The League Match will now be played on Friday 9 September at 7:40pm with the Reserves being played beforehand.

The U18 will play as a stand alone Match on Saturday September 10.

Friday August 26 – South Adelaide v Norwood – Coopers Stadium

League – 7:40pm

Reserves – 4:55pm

Saturday August 27 – South Adelaide v Norwood – TBA

U18's – TBA

Anyone have an explanation behind South's thinking with the scheduling????? Reserves are a stand alone fixture on the Saturday yet the next week they play on the Friday night :?

Because the following week is our home game so we choose what grades play at what times

Yes, it's true. We win the flag every year, and were fined $50,000 for the salary cap to cover up the fact the SANFL are looking after us.

Not at all.
I think the clubs get the choice. Souths home game against the Eagles they have decided to play the 18's before the league and at our home match against South we have chosen to play the ressies before the league. No drama as I see it

Both clubs have to agree to the schedule. So why did South trade the reserves and under 18's with WWT yet go no problems with Norwood??

Not that it really matters for the 2's they are only fighting to avoid the spoon not a finals spot.

If we can now get South and Eagles to move their games to night games, we may be a chance to play finals. We play a hell of a lot better underlights (apart from the last Norwood game)

Cant see how South can play Eagles at Noarlunga and Norwood at Coopers AT THE SAME TIME (Fri Aug 26)

I thing that South v Norwood date is incorrect.
