Yep .. cricket freak here too.

I remember hearing about a Collingwood supporter who arranged his wedding a week after the GF ... then they had the replay. I wonder how he broke it to his missus that the wedding was off! :D

no, the League Grand Final. ;)

We have to miss out one year might as well be this year, meant to be going to a family wedding on that day. Want to keep my record of attending every CDFC Grand Final in the history of the club without being disowned from the family.

Does that mean you've only been to 11 games of footy whufc? ;)

Looks like its going to be a close race for positions 4 and 5 this year.
The premiership will come out of Norwood Centrals and Eagles

Might be some hard decisions to make at Centrals too with Gowans.

Both Chris and James have said themselves they are happy to play reserves if they are not in good enough form or not fit enough. James should be back from a hamstring strain against Port next week but may come back through the reserves having not played for over a month.

Chris, like James, decided to do the hammy as well and probably wont play again for another 3 or 4 weeks so he too may come back through the reserves. Roy Laird won't pick them if they are not right to play or up to it and he has proven in the past, he isn't afraid to make the tough calls.

LOL we'll see..time will tell!

FWIW, if it's Nwd v Poodles, and if both teams play to their potential on GF day, Centrals will get *thumped in the GF this year.

As for the arrogance of some Centrals people..and after a decade of it, people now clap when they see you - their hands over their ears..

Massively huge game for us against Centrals in a fortnight.
Would love to finish top and have 1st week off, not too keen to play Eagles. Would rather watch Centrals and Eagles bash each other around in the first week.

It could go the other way yet - with an eye on a bigger prize, both coaches may play their cards pretty close to their chest and not let too many cats out of the bag. If either side has injury/form issues, then their coach may just take a chance to rest blokes and look at a few possibles from the ressies, to be absolutely sure of what they want to do in finals.

Will Tex's injury keep him out for a week this week and then he will be named on our bench in a fortnight - even if he doesn't run on to Doggie park all day?

Bass will have Norwood well an truly ready for finals this year. Can't see why Norwood can't win the premiership.
