I thought a red card meant 2 weeks suspension.

IB had a player go to the tribunal a few weeks back after receiving a red, plead guilty, has a good record, the umpire came in and said the red card was probably harsh and wasn't much in it....and got 2 weeks?!

How's that work?

Don't get me started on the HFL Tribunal - the whole lot need a clean out and replaced with people that have got any sort of touch with reality!

Their inconsistantcies are glaringly obvious and it is a massive blight on the league. The problem, the board and the commissioners are all mates with eachother and think they're doing a "brilliant" job.

Here, here!! Bunch of old farts gave me a week to think things over, I'm pretty sure the guy I 'struck' didn't even realise I'd hit him!

McGovern you were lucky you only got a week you would have to be one of the dirtiest players going around

Unfortunately Blackwood were too strong for us today, winning the A-Grade by 3 goals and the B-Grade by 8 Goals. There were some baffling umpiring decisions in both games today

Any other results from today?

Get a decent instant gas like everyone else in the hills!

Worry about your own showers mate! and oval for that matter, few rocks last time we played there.

i think you need to stick to facts. Our oval is small but there's no rocks on it and our change rooms are a shed but they always have hot water. Uraidla has great facilities but for the last 3 seasons i have had a cold shower there. on footy, tough slog at ib today. Not a game to remember.

The facts are there were rocks on that oval. more then a few would agree with their cut up knee's. apart from that u couldnt have any complaints.

any tips on tip 5 at this close stage??

Not what I meant. Was a scrappy game with lots of ballups and would have been tough to watch if not for a tight contest. Loby almost won it. Nitschke BOG IMO.

Big call seeing Loby have only won a few games and historically the best on ground comes from the winning team. Surely it will be someone from Uraidla as they haven't lost a match and in most have belted the opposition.

I agree the winner will surely come from Uraidla. Daniel Ebert i think, gets alot of the ball and use's it well. He's quiet on the field and just gets on with the job.

Too many blokes taking votes away from him, reckon we will see it go to a bloke from a team middle of the table!

Lobethal played well on the weekend and although finals appears out of reach I doubt this young side will give up that easily. If they happen to win all 4 remaining games (it is possible) they could give 5th spot a nudge still. The door hasn't completely closed for them yet. Beware the Tigers.

ATS - It is possible for Loby to win their last 4 games??? Who are you trying to kid? They haven't been able to do it during the year so why would they start now. What odds do you want on Loby making the 5? Looking at the draw I reckon it will be Uraidla, Blackwood, and Mt Barker. After that anyone's guess but Hahndorf have a reasonable draw and it might come down to the last game between Onkas and Ironbank for 5th. The Devils have a tough draw that will make it hard for them.

Its not a problem, if the Roos were playing Lofty that week the player who got hit would've been rubbed out

Would love to see Block or Nunan get up for Mounts, but also think that Nitschke will win the medal ahead of D. Ebert. 16-20 votes may be enough?

Hows Big Glenn Dundovic going at Blackwood, kicked 100 goals last year in the Great Southern for Yankalilla which is a far stronger league IMO. Should already have 100 goals playing against weaker opposition.
