SANFL related a bit

Craig ended his tenure as the Crows' longest serving coach in
the wake of Adelaide's 103-point loss to St Kilda on Friday night.
Former Crows captain Mark Bickley has been appointed as
caretaker coach for the remainder of the season.
"It's time," Craig said in a statement.
"To continue would hurt the club, given the negativity and
distraction that my own role has become.
"We have clearly underperformed this year and as senior coach, I
take the responsibility for that."
Craig, 55, had coached Adelaide since midway through the 2004
season when his predecessor Gary Ayres was sacked.
But this season will be Adelaide's worst in the AFL, with the
club languishing in 14th spot with just four wins.

That would be "gold'. Norwood would start kicking backwards, but he'd be really excited about it.

What a fabulous chance for Bickley to show what he's made of.

Don't like his short term chances though.

Good Luck Bicks.

Bring back the flair and excitement to our game.

Good Luck in the future Craig.
Smile :)

AFL players get dropped, or selected from and to SANFL teams depending on a coaches view. SANFL coaches sometimes become AFL coaches, and that may be their goal. A coach will have some input into a team list and the recruitment or delisting of players. Pretty obvious.
