Thanks Jim.That is good for a South game they don't often get over 3000 . It's a pity they got thumped as hopefully that increase in crowd was a few extra South supporters getting behind them.

Looking at a photo in Advertister Now the Norwood CLASH jumper does have navy blue on it, in the same proportion as it has red on its traditional jumper.

I think they have just reversed the colours, same design.

No it doesn't look like Norwood but it does CLASH with the Panthers better than anything they have tried before.

I would think 3200 maybe more

Jim did you see the guy at the canteen who had a fall at the start of the game
Poor guy bought a drink from the canteen , turned around and a sMALl feMALe child walked into his line
He attempted to sidestep the kid, lost balance and fell on the child
It was very fortunate no serious injuries were sustained, the guy had a big fall
The child was crying and its dad came over
I was thinking an altercation was about
But the dad apologised to the gent, the gent was clearly distressed with the incident
He apologised constantly, and was more concerned about the child than his battered body

In one of the most touching things Ive seen at a football game, the gentleman went to purchase a Lolly from the canteen
A SA canteen worker who witnessed the incident gave him a giant snake lolly for free
The gentlemen gave the sMALl child the lolly
The parents of the child, and the absolute gentleman all deserve recognition for thier handling of the situation

Strange way to prepare for a game later in the day !

he should have dropped in on Phil then, he lives in Norwood.

I think it doesn't look too bad, although it certainly doesn't look like a traditional Norwood guernsey.

Yeah was only a couple of feet away, the big fella was visibly upset as he thought he had hurt the child. Well done to all parties

We cant win either way!!!!!!
We get hassled because we always used to clash with South so we come up with a clash strip and get panned for it.
Its not our best guernsey but it serves its purpose and at the end of the day thats all that matters.
It made it so much easier for the fans to watch and surely thats the aim.

The hill near the bar was mainly Norwood supporters, but i noticed the grand stand was nearly full and they appeared to be mainly South supporters. At a guess id say a 60/40 crowd split in Norwoods favour

The big fella took the brunt of the fall on his backside
Had he fallen completely on top of the child it could have been an ambulance job for the young child
Ive rarely seen a person so embarrassed in the ensuing minutes after

Reckon Ron would be sick of Norwood by now, have been mauled twice this year and face up to us again in last round. Amazing how some teams just match up well on others, we have a decent record down there but a lot of teams have struggled at Noarlunga. The ground must suit us.

Ron Fuller can be quoted as saying :
After the win at NW oval he thought NW was that best team SA had played
He re-iterated his thoughts after todays loss

Great stuff and good to see common sense prevail rather than the all to common fights we see these days.

Don't get too down South supporters, Norwood are the best team in the comp and will win the GF in a canter. We improved our performance from our last meeting and never chucked it in, as we know previous teams would have seen the result turn into a complete blow out. Norwood's height was always going to be our downfall as it proved to be. Strangest crowd at a game, good in number but quiet all day from both sides, wierd.
