Apparently now supporting your team is so unacceptable that you’ll be threatened with your life. Disgraceful behaviour that I have never seen before and never wish to see again. The language, the offensive and forceful behaviour, they shouldn't be allowed to attend the footy.

Even Norwood fans, don't like other Norwood fans. ;)

I won't bag South fans, as yes it may have come from their supporters, but these guys aren’t the norm, they are the exceptions. Every team has poor fans, these guys are South’s. It could’ve got out of hand but thankfully stopped just short. But for the remainder of the game there was little enjoyment to take from the game. I just can't believe this was all because people can’t accept the fact not everyone supports their team.

Jimmys comment is accurate IMO , not sure what you are going on about Southee. Maybe this is what NFC is referring to ?

Walker will be with us next week, still far from 100%, couple of times looked very slow and proppy

will that make him eligible for finals?

For Norwoods sake... gee he'd be handy come September!
imagine him one-out inside 50 on a sunny day at footy Park on Yves Sibenalar....
All us Central-haters would be loving it!
.... yes I know Centrals would probably still win!

The story of the day mirrored the story of each team's seasons. South started fairly well while Norwood absolutely dominated from the 10-minute mark onwards.

Breakdown of scoring for today:

South Adelaide v Norwood
First 10 mins of each qtr: 5.3 (33) to 4.4 (28); Diff: South by 5 pts
10 - 20 mins of each qtr:: 2.4 (16) to 8.2 (50); Diff: Norwood by 34 pts
Time on 20+ of each qtr:: 2.4 (16) to 5.5 (35); Diff: Norwood by 19 pts

Breakdown of scoring for the season:

South Adelaide - 2011
First 10 mins: 63.62 (440) to 73.48 (486); Diff -46
10 - 20 mins: 61.41 (407) to 84.54 (558); Diff -151
Time on 20+: 54.40 (364) to 66.47 (443); Diff -79

Norwood - 2011
First 10 mins: 68.51 (459) to 52.55 (367); Diff +92
10 - 20 mins: 78.57 (525) to 43.52 (310); Diff +215
Time on 20+: 61.36 (402) to 50.28 (328); Diff +74

Norwood's +215 point advantage between the 10-20 minute-mark of each quarter is the biggest points differential for any side in any time of the quarter. Next best is Central District who have outscored their opponents by 152 points in the first 10 mins of quarters this year.

I watched the game from the kiosk hill all day and thought a number of times how enjoyable and relaxed the mood was up there. Actually, at times, thought it was one of the quietest crowds I've ever heard at a SANFL game, in terms of support for both teams, so was surprised to read a couple of things on here about crowd issues.

The game itself wasn't one that many fans will rush to buy the highlights reel from, but it was a workmanlike win by Norwood after a very spirited start by South. After quarter time, Norwood just dominated all key areas, using their run from defence a number of times and working the ball well around the flanks to isolate runners in space. Brady Dawe proved the focal point that South struggled to find a matchup for all day. Taylor Walker played the second half on the ball but to be honest, thought he was disappointing for much of it. Seemed to run to the wrong places a lot and just didn't ever look like making an impact.

South fans must be thrilled with Michael Wundke. He leads the SANFL goalkicking now by a fair margin and it would be just reward if he was to win the Ken Farmer Medal. Toby Stribling tried hard, but their biggest achilles heel was how often, from kickins - particularly from the Northern end - they simply went straight to the western pocket and Norwood were able to pick them off with ease. Seemed to really lack the same bounce and spark I saw against Sturt last week. Not sure if the season is catching up with some of the younger players, but Norwood seemed to be able to run away from Panther opponents with ease a number of times today.
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

If you listen to Rowey he believes GWS HAVE NOT approached Walker at any point , this coming from someone very close to him.

it's always going to be quiet at Noarlunga, as most of the supporters sit in their vehicles. This is one of the reasons that I don't agree with letting the cars in. Just saying.

Swearing is verboten but it's ok to discuss rape dungeons. Go figure.

Any further word on any injuries from the game?
