I dont know why teams nominate a C grade team if u dont have enough. We had about 20 blokes out through injury and illness but still put together a team, at least Greenacres and Westminster did the right thing and didnt put a team in. Now all we can do is hope the team we play this week bothers to show up.

Tony, you seem to have forgotten which club you're from. Is it AUFC or PFC?Tony Clifton wrote:I know at Pulteney we didn't have a C Grade last season and our B's really struggled as a result (for numbers and quality). This season our C's have at least provided some support and a source of players to the B's. Whilst our C's have got smashed every week the B's have done alright.

It seems as though C4 is the comp that this happens in each year for the last few years? It sucks I know, leading into last years finals we played about 2 games in 6 weeks also. In the old days of C grade sides the rest would be a blessing but the average age of most clubs C grade sides are a lot younger now days so it is harder to get the payers to stay focused. In C6, we have the last round bye/forfeit and are hopeful of finishing top and having the first week off. With our average age in the low to mid 30s the two weeks off would be fantastic leading in.
We played your C grade in trial this year and also last year, you guys would be the outright favs so take the rest while you can, finals is just a few weeks away!
