I don't know what their sides normally like - but The Shoes looked pretty ordinary in Loxton on the weekend. I find it hard to beleive Berri are a 10 goal better side than them. So it'll be interesting to know what strength side they brought up.

Footy Mad - Port Noarlunga will splash the cash around very soon and rumour has it will be a large bucket...

Isn't a bit to be splashing money around? All the good players would have been snapped up?

I think you'll find Flaggy's will finish higher than 9th. Christies that high....you've got to be joking!
Porties to be not as bad as everyone's predicting and Smack'em will finish bottom just behind Morphy Parks.

Not too bad Cheech, young kids are another year older and we've got some talent coming through from the under 18's grand final team from last year. With all these young fellas, some of us older blokes might get squeezed out of the side! Only a couple of recruits but would expect us to play finals again this year.

Specky, can I ask who is the Flaggies coach this year?
I watched them play a 2 trials and a game last year and by all accounts they have a young team. Some big lads but they were the softest out of all, I know they all only came through the U/18s blah blah blah but my reason for asking is mate Id love to work with a squad like that!
Flaggies need someone to put a bit of mongrel in em, develop that group and for god sake keep em together. My prediction is if this happens top four by 2009...

Flaggies will have the so called harder draw this year, will be interesting to see if they can make consecutive finals. They will definately be on the improve if they do!

The MOLE, do you know if that easy draw, hard draw thing is the reason Porties always finish near the top one year and then crumble the next? That seems to be the trend down at the cockledivers.

They are not the only team in the same boat, making the finals one year cos of the easy draw and then miss out the next......Christies beach, Noarlunga and im tipping Flaggies as the next.

Flaggys coach this year is Ian Cox. Great coach and is working very hard to develop the young talent. The average age of the A grade squad last year was about 20.

As for the draw, Sullies seem to get the 'easy' draw every year and is why they just make the 8, then get smashed the first week of the finals.

I have had a good look at the draw over the last couple of years and i would like to know how you came up with how sullies seem to have the 'easy' draw. Or were you just saying this as defence for your club, an early excuse maybe??

Sounds as if the MOLE has a soft spot for sullies.

Noarlunga, Smack'em and Morphy Parks X2

At least 4 given games there. All sides that finished below them on the ladder. Definitely wasnt 'hard'.
