Looks like West are well and truly buggered for the rest of the season, shocking run of injuries and a form slump at the business end of the season does not go well for the club.

I realise its not all the fault of the Senior Coach, but the defensive game plan Westies run with is getting tired and maybe even worked out by opposition coaches. They have plenty of speed in the side and must have the capacity to play another style than just this all the time.

When you compare the two, as ABC did, Parry's actually looks worse. If you think it was any different to Walker's, you may need to see them again.

Agree that Parry's tackle looked heavier, but that's the way I saw it.

Embarrassingly bad performance by the Bloods today.

Caire and Morris (again) were good, but that was about all.

I've rated Grocke for a long time and he was outstanding today.

I had a good day all round. The Ressies led by 10 goals at half-time and still lost :?

I only got there at the start of the League game, so I didn't know the Reserves score until I looked in the updates.

57 points is the equal biggest comeback in the Reserves from half time, equal with the Preliminary Final of 1990, when West Torrens trailed Glenelg by that margin and won by 11 points.

WOW about the ressies score.

WWT reserves came from 48-50 points back at 3/4 time against the Dogs to draw a few weeks ago as well.

Is Moran a West product ?I didn't think so ? He will be a full timer next year or you won't have him at all .

I did think of you, R&B, as I watching the worst performance I've seen all season at senior SANFL level from any team. Do not know what happened at half time there, but the West that emerged looked completely disspirited, disinterested and lacking in any structure. The stats were some of the most damning I've taken all year:

Marks Inside 50: 19 WWT, 3 WA
Inside 50: 67 WWT, 30 WA
C/Breaks: 17 WWT, 8 WA - this was after WWT had the first seven c/breaks

WA's only real period of inside 50 movement was in the second term, when they had 6 consecutive entries. This was the same period that Chris Knights, who I had for 39 disposals, did not record a possession.

By three quarter time, Daniel Webb, Ryan Willits, Jarrod Silvester, Brad Fisher and Michael Pettigrew had taken two marks. Between them.

The Eagles were absolutely electric yesterday and if Adam Grocke had straightened a little, 11 goals plus was a real chance. He only failed to score from two of his 16 kicks, both of which were scoring assists.

BTW R&B - it looked like that envelope you were holding marked "Umpires" had no effect at all ;) :D . I would have liked to hear, however, what Andrew Collins was saying to his players to keep them on the ground for 7-8 minutes after the siren.
Can you guess where I'm calling from, the Las Vegas Hilton...

I totally agree with all of that,CK.

It was a very tough day to be an (already long-suffering) Bloods fan. No excuses and I'll even agree that we went defensive in the last quarter ;)

I don't know what the coach said out on the ground. there are times you instinctively know to keep well clear :D

You're right about the Umpires envelope as well. I couldn't even find anything to blame them for as well!

Tough times, but I'll front up again next week when we smash the Roosters :?

It was more like half time as West Reserves only 1 goal in the 2nd half.

That's what Central fans thought yesterday, but North won by 5 goals.
