Kirkwood's mark was better than Spurr's imo. Central's had the game under control from about the 20 minute mark of the first quarter and were never going to lose.

Some good signs from us yesterday and am now very confident we will beat the Eagles next week. If not, season over.

Also a reminder to some centrals fans, it is not a free kick everytime an opposition player goes near a centrals player. Some of their supporters really had no idea.

they do have a lot of frontrunners as supporters

It was embarrassing to see only about 80 bloods supporters there yesterday.

I was impressed with their understanding of Wests colours. They chanted them many times and they were correct every time! Perhaps they are now ready to move on to more challenging topics.

Agree, knees didn't get above shoulder height. I think the awkward fall made it look better than it was.

Pfft if a Glenelg player ever took a mark that good. Not only would the bays fans say it was mark of the year they would of jumped the fence and sung the club song with the player afterwards.

Graham Cornes, 1973.

And yes, the fans jumped the fence in numbers afterwards. 8)

Imagine if Chad had done that. He'd still be celebrating.

Your too smart to be a doggie supporter. ;)

ps. If Ewing kicks his 100th for the Thunder at Marrara, I think we should run out on the field.

Not exactly on topic but I figured Westies supporters might see it here:

This week's Football People yarn takes a look at junior development in Roxby Downs. West Adelaide FC's Andrew Marks tells of the club's role in mining young football talent.

Didnt get alot of the ball i think only around 8-10 possies, but looking back on the replay used the ball at about 100% effiency and had an assist in two goals.

Was rarely beaten in any one on ones and definatly played his role very very well imho should hold his spot in the side this week.

Unfortuanlty as you would probably know we wont see alot of him at the Dogs because he will be in the AFL system next year for sure.
