A LITTLE GOSSIP OUT OF THE COVE TAVERN LAST NIGHT.
THE NUGGET O'CONNOR LOOKALIKE MATT SLOAN IS BACK THIS YEAR.
VERY HANDY BATTER IN THE TOP ORDER AND LETHAL IN THE FEILD.
THIS INCLUSION COULD PUSH COVE INTO THE TOP 4.

We are looking for players!

St George Cricket Club (located at Urrbrae High School) currently fields 2 sides in Sections 4 and 5 of the Adelaide & Suburban Cricket Association (hardwicket). In past years, we have fielded 3 teams and hope to return to this soon.

We cater for cricketers of all ages and abilities and enjoy an active social agenda at our sponsor’s establishment, the Astor Hotel on the city fringe.

So if you and your mates are looking for a new challenge, more regular games or just to meet new people, don’t hesitate to give me a call. I’m happy to catch up for a beer, talk cricket and tell you more about our club.

Also, I’d love to hear from any aspiring cricket coaches. If you’ve got your coaching accreditation, have plenty of ideas, but are struggling to get the experience, please give me a call. While we can’t pay you, you will be able to gain experience in a casual atmosphere with willing participants. This experience will look excellent on your resume when you are applying for future positions. With two sides on the cusp of the success in recent years, St George Cricket Club is a blank canvas awaiting your input!

And the author of that post isn't associated with Cove so I'd say Caleb should try and back up his comments with quotes from Cove players.

I'm not making the statements, you are so try and back them up.

It was mentioned last year that those comments 'or talking up' as you call it were not from the Cove. Only someone stirring the pot.

Justin Calderbank from the Coromandel Ramblers.
I'm interested to hear what people have to say about the man? In my opinion he is the man ASCA no longer needs.
I just read a very interesting article on the Ramblers website from their annual edition of the 'declaration'. In his A grade season report he blabbed on about how sporting they are and that Coromandel have poor standards and WYC are "a disgrace to ASCA".

If anybody is bored and wants a laugh download the file and have a read. Some may say that I'm stooping to his level...*EDITED BY MODS*

Look forward to a few replies from the Ramblers boys but I get the feeling he is not popular with many in the comp!!

On a positive note, looking forward to training tonight!! Season 11-12 is almost here :)
