Richmond is a winnable game for them.
I think he will play.

I reckon he'll play as well. A game up in Cairns with a chance to win over new fans to the Gold Cost. Ablett has to play for the same reason KHunt does. That's the difference between the Cost and the Cats. The Cats can afford to be conservative with one of their midfield guns but no such option exists for the Costs' most marketable player. HTFU and get on the field moneybags.

I reckon he'll play. The question for me is whether to give him the captaincy or not.

They may use him conservatively (by that I mean he may only score around 100 points), and possibly sub him if they are out of the game by mid 3rd quarter.

To C or not to C. That is the question.

no major surprises at the selection tables tonight, Hibberd out might hurt a few people in the mid or def as a back up for Hawthorn players who have the bye but other than that 'play it on'

K. Hunt out for Wilkinson
I made a midfield change (forget who) to free up enough cash to get rid of Hunt (should have done this round 2 or 3)...

Goodes gets the C

One spot left in my midfield with 3 options - Swallow, Sylvia or Montagna

Any thoughts? Im thinking Swallow who will probably have the easier game, esp if Ablett is limited.

I would go Sylvia. Scores well, and they're only playing Pt Adelaide.

I'd go Montagna. Sylvia is very inconsistent and I wouldn't back Swallow for back to back tons.

Probably not a bad time to trade out David Swallow. After this round, he has Collingwood, St Kilda, Geelong in his next three matches.

He is a downgrade to Callinan but just holding off until Callinan definately comes back. Dont need to upgrade him.

Has a tough run home, but wouldn't make a bad F8.

what's a F8?

BC,
It refers to his position on your team. F = Forwards (as B = Back, M = Midfield, R = Ruck).
8 is the number on the field. There are 7 starting forward spots, so he means BROWN would be a good first reserve in the forward lines to cover for byes or injury, but doesn't think he should be considered a starter if you are able to get your best side on the park.
BROWN plays Geel, North, Bye, Bulldogs leading up to finals. Then during finals Gold Coast, Coll, Eagles and Sydney. Not a good run.
I have been looking at him, but don't like his run in the finals at the business end, so agree F8 at best if you have plenty of trades.
