Think its 5 games now

I thought the same. But apparently it is different for rookie listed players ie. Callinan.

Yep for upgraded Rookies I believe it's only 3

Yes - if a player is upgraded from the Rookie List to full AFL status, the qualification is only three SANFL games.

The standard five games qualification stands for other AFL listed players.

With West Adelaide the only side Central haven't beaten this year, the Bloods would have to go in as favourites wouldn't they? ;)

Selection, for both sides, will play a big part of which way this game will go I'd suspect.

The Dogs would probably be hoping the Crows don't call up Henderson and/or Gunston while it could welcolme back the likes of Goodrem, Hardy and possibly, just possibly, Ian Callinan from injury.

Westies will welcolme back their skipper Ryan Ferguson and would be hoping Brad Fisher is right to play while AFL selections or demotions could see the likes of Pettigrew, Davenport and Moran come in or out of the mix?

This will be a fair bit closer than many are thinking I would suspect although the Bloods haven't won at Elizabeth since 1999.

So you're saying the choice of players to play in this game could affect the outcome of the game? And that Centrals probably won't want to lose players from their side? Now that you point all this out, it's hard to disagree.
And yeah, I reckon West WOULD be hoping Brad Fisher is right to play, especially since he played last game and has had the week off in between.

Two to five changes a week is getting tiresome. On the positive side the younger guys are getting the chance to get a game and consolidate their spot.
Unfortunately, I think Westies will get back in to form this game and knock off the dogs (margin doesn't matter)*.

*Disclaimer, I'm generally a pessimist and the Doggies have proved me wrong many times this season.

Not pushing them hard enough! Some of them need to increase the weights they are using. ;)

Pretty sure I saw an advert in The Messenger this week asking for any guys over 6 ft that would like a game of footy to meet at the back of the grand stand at Playford Alive Oval this Saturday at 1pm.
