A frenchman is due for a stage win - none of the stages have been won by a frenchman as yet and tonight could be the night - the winner tonight gets to bask in the victory for an extra day as the next day is a rest day :) Maybe Voeckler who sits on almost the same time as Contador, will want to get a jump up the standings. Others might be Casar or Chavanel.

Voeckler has won stage 5 in 2009 and stage 15 in 2010, so this timing would be potentially well-suited to him. A stage win and some precious seconds or more could really launch his Tour in 2011.

Well what a crazy stage that last one was...
Bit unlucky the other night with all the crashes leading to the peleton effectively not chasing the break down.

Hoping tonight they chase the break down but also certain teams really ramp up the pace going over the last couple of mountains to drop Cavendish. If this happens take your pick from Boasson Hagen, Rojas, Goss or Gilbert...

$10 Boasson Hagen @ 13.5
$5 Top 3 Goss @ 5.90 and Rojas @ 5.40

Would be cool if you could do trifecta betting!!

Just a reminder to get on board a frenchman to win the stage on July 14 - it's Bastille Day.

First big mountain stage tonight...

Bastille Day I know but can't see any French Riders strong enough tonight... Maybe Moncoutie in a break (think he's french?)

My tip is Sammy Sanchex @ 15s and $4 for Top 3

Very good climber, great descender, is a minute behind Contador so hoping just enough that they are not overly worried about him.
The big 3 stalk each other and Sammy scoots away late for the win...
