Where did Cupcakes take his team mates to celebrate? Hungry Jacks?

Seriously though if he did lose a couple of KGs, do you think he could play higher at SHOC?

Correct. Coached his last game at Flinders yesterday. He spent nine years with the club tasting premiership success in 2002 and 2007.

Yes he could play higher IMO, but I'm not too sure he wants to. And no he is Not Sandbagging!

Bit of a shock result in the Nth Pines V Mitchell Park game. I thought Nth Pines were a chance but did not see a score line like that coming. Your thoughts on the game Morrell?
Nth Pines still 2 games out the 5 and would be at long odds to make up them games on TTG. Need to knock off at least 1 of Mawson Lakes or Angle Vale on the run home to have a chance. As I said earlier the papaerwork mistake made earlier in the year against Flinders Uni will likely cost them a spot in the 5.

North Pines will make the 5 alright. They'll beat Angle Vale for sure next time and TTG have a tough run home. Speaking of Angle Vale how did they go on the weekend? Anyone?

My thoughts are that if Mitchell Park want to be a player in the finals race we need to very quickly turn around our attitude and work ethic on Saturdays, as well as getting on the training track where we have seen numbers drop significantly. We do have quite a few guys out or playing under major duress however.

Hopefully over the next few weeks we can get some rest into some of our ageing stars and welcome back Jeremy David, Cohen Somerville, Grant Gluza, Ben Metcalf, Simon Acheson and the much vaunted Brad Steele into the fold.

Having said that, the side that beat SHOC wasn't too different to the side that got pummeled by North Pines, so credit to the Spiders, they really did play very well - Willie Sansbury is more than a handful - and they enjoyed their win, interestingly by banging on our change room walls. Strange that they were still thinking of us...

He cops a lot of flack does Carroll but he's a bloody good player who uses his body as good as anybody i've seen and he has actually trimmed down a few kgs this year. If you want to stop him, stop the ball from getting down to him up the field ;)

I think his biggest asset is the ability to grab the footy like a ping pong ball. Very, very good hands.

Spot on Riddler. Most blokes that are 130Kgs+ that can catch, kick straight would kick over 100 goals a season in a side that has 400 Inside 50s each week

Rumour I heard down the pub was the club said they weren't going to renew his contract at years end so Ross being the clubman and good bloke he is decided to step down now in order to give the B grade coach full reign so the club could see how he went about it and coped with it all.

Milly that song is terrible. It was like watching a train wreck!

I see Scudds playing Div 7 A grade. Has the message finally sunk in at the Hawks?

To the lad from TTG's D Grade who sickeningly broke his leg yesterday we (MLFC) want to pass on our best wishes to him and hope he can make a full recovery, nobody wants to see those types of injuries happen to anyone. Good luck ;)
