Good on ya's. Has been some OTT celebrations at Alberton in recent times when North have won there.

Just watched some highlights on the the Adelaidenow site and looked to me as though the HTB call on Treeby was spot on .. I'm not sure who the Eagles player was that missed applying the shepherd, but that was the killer.

Even so - still haven't seen our players sing the song in front of the supporters mind you but (1) There's not much to sing about in recent times and (2) With the amazing amount of supporters they let in the room after a game there's nearly as many in there as there are out on the terraces so probably wouldn't matter!

I'm not too sure. Looked like he got a handball away fairly quickly.

Yeah possible I guess, it's a bit obscured by the non-shepherding teammate, but if he did get the handball off it was until after he'd taken the tackler on

Eagles got lucky against Sturt, so I guess it all evens out in the long run.

Having a shot at Jai Bednall is a bit rough. His articles are accurate most times IMO , I reckon he writes well .

Well there are photos on SL.org that demonstrate that it was illegal disposal due to the tackle. Mulesy actually wraps up Treeby's R hand in tackling him which means that there was no way he could have handballed it legally.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Still happy to have him cover SANFL. Could be a hell of a lot worse .................
At least Jai understands the game and writes only about it with no other agenda.

Agree with a bit of all of this. The shepherd was pretty average, especially that they didn't work out to rush a point between them when they were 2 points up. The call seemed a bit quick to me if he did handball it, the vision on AdelaideNow was a bit hard to see, but happy for it to be HTB if it, am Bays, if it wasn't a proper disposal seeing as he tried to get around the player.

I notice on the Adelaide Now video that a scuffle broke out early. Was this Glenelg driven as I think they tried to ruffle a few feathers against West early as well.Maybe that is part of Massies plan ?
