I think Ethiad stadium was $400m 15 years ago. Construction costs have gone up a lot since then. I know because I had a house built about then.
whufc, don't you think the $700m seems to good to be true? There's contra commentary on the Perth stadium that suggests it will cost more like $1b.

Barto may shoot me down here but my impression from visits to Perth is that it is badly in need of a development like this so good on them for getting this going. When people from our Perth office visit here they comment on how developed they think the Adelaide CBD isUsually we are critical of our own backyard.
