Gee can we imagine how sh!t SA would be without its six best players.....

Apart from Lehmann and Gillespie if we lost our best 6 the guys that would replace them would all be about the same level. Basically the depth in SA cricket is the problem. The guys that are playing are crap and the guys that could replace them are also crap. The thing is a lot of it stems from attitude. So much of the game is play in the head and unfortunately despite a lot of the younger guys having heaps of talent they just simply do not have the right attitude to succeed. Hopefully that changes soon cos there could be a hell of a lot of talent go to waste otherwise.

Clingeleffer GAWN. Bollinger strikes again but Stuey appears to be struggling judging by Cricinfo comments.

Bollinger just picked up the HUGE wicket of super captain Dan Marsh. 5/35 on the opening day for Doug, not a bad effort.

Tassie in deep trouble now 7/188

I reckon they are a 150 runs away from being even. They have failed to bat us out of the match on day one. Just wish Stuey could take a flamin wicket! He usually produces in the big matches but has been disappointing this season to say the least.

2/111, Jaques on 53*

Not looking as threatening with 'Hilly' out of the attack. Cricinfo commentators in fine form during this match.

NS 4/141
HURRICANE HILFENHAUS 3/50

What a pleasure to see Benny bowling with great gusto
He bowled 3 short ones at THORNLEY and then got him out bowling another
Its well known around the country that THORNLEY can be timid to short pitched bowling.
He then sconed JAQUES[70*] as well
HILFEXPRESS is an absolute star
