Good point. The football manager who probably puts the team up is Victorian.

Should we introduce the old 'Ruck', 'Ruck Rover' and 'Rover' tags? ;)

Not that I'm complaining as I like watching the Dogs play and it will be good to go see them again at my local oval, but why are these two teams playing again at Noarlunga so soon?

It's in the fixture, I don't think Lairdy wanted to forfeit.

South have just done 2 Alberton trips with the same length break also... A few head scratches in our schedule this season, but I guess someone is always gonna cop it unless they schedule the competition back to round robin knock out tournament.

I would like every week at Noarlunga. 8 mins each way. Sensational.

Markedly irregular "gaps" seem to have become a more regular feature in the programming of recent years. Whether it's all considered a low priority thing in light of other requests made by the clubs for the scheduling I'm not sure.

In the CDFC case alone this year, aside from Noarlunga, there's also a five round gap between games at Woodville as well as, conversely, 14 and 12 round gaps between games against West and Norwood respectively.

Meh.

No different to other leagues - Essendon and Richmond played last night and also played the same round South and Centrals last met. American sports seem to have tge most bizarre scheduling, where teams could play each other twice in a few days then not again for months!

It's what has to happen with a draw that has an odd number of teams unless you have only 1 team having a bye each week.
