Correct. But not because of grading issues.

If it wasnt next season it would have been the one after, it makes no sense to have teams in different comps, surely you can acknowledge that?

ATCO would be in grades 2 & 3 I'd imagine after last season's results.

When do official (or unofficial) gradings come out?

And are clubs beginning to organise/prepare for pre-season now?

Is exactly what most are saying. If it's a temporary thing that you want the PDCA to help you out for a year then making demands isn't the way to get favours from someone. All in all it's a massive headache organising a competition around a club wanting to have it's top 2 sides in another comp. Organising and policing player movement permits etc. Last thing the PDCA wants is for turf to lose a game and have Sibbick rock up to a grade 4 game as a late replacement for the #9 who doesn't bowl and can't field.

Always a shame when the weather interferes with the season, but one year it works for you, the next against you. One grade benefits, another suffers. It all balances out eventually. We'll just butter up and strive to improve and get into the finals again. Once you're there you're always a chance.

I know you want a reply Catchit....

1. If Rosies were one of the best 2 sides then they really shouldnt have won the whole thing, but no, you didnt so get over it. The reason Westies have had succuess in recent times is the strength in being a team and everyone knowing their role, half of Rosies side last year were individuals, hence why you were no 2.

2. The crowd? Well on the Sunday afternoon I thought the crowd wasnt too bad, the lack of numbers from lodge were because we had 4 sides playing in grand finals, sorry not all members can attend each game. But like i said, the sunday afternoon (once we won 2 others flags) crowd was good and there were easily more BL supporters than R&C. Why was that?

3. You'd be happy to socialise with the winning team after the game and drink? Didnt seem like that last year after you limped off sooking..... I think if you were on the winning side then maybe a different story but you'd be such a gracious winner wouldnt you!

4.You got your reply ;)

Catchit, I did have another question.

What was with R&C doing a warm up before the GF?? Never seen it before and if I recall I remember another team (the premiership one) getting bagged out earlier in the season for doing one, I think it was after a game an outright loss which followed some premature celebrations...

I have to say the weather policy's for finals comes up every year. I don't agree with rules and i have to say grahaml there is no way known it eventually balances out. Every year you you wouldn't have the same teams so people miss out i can't see how that eventually balances out. I have been on the good side of the weather policy come finals time but it takes the feeling of winning it fair and square away. Surely the game could be played again the following weekend!.

Browny surely you know by now catchit is one of the nice guys of the PDCA, he has always been a good loser :D
Just like you blokes were a couple of years ago losing the semi final to the weather. ;)
