ot surprised by Hinge being dropped Phil but it should have honestly been done LAST YEAR at times. His formhas been OK but you do have to feel a bit for him as the coach just doesn't settle him. Most ofhis best footy with Sturt has been at half back and once again that took a long time to work out . He is criticised for not manning upon his player but if you watch closely he is protecting space so that would be the coaches instructions.

Or perhaps that is not the instruction of the coach and that is why he is out of the team? What is your version of the coach unsettling him, I would expect that a player of his type and experience should be able to play multiple positions within a year. It is obvious you are anti-Norman but I would have thought one of the main reasons your club is in the position that it is is due to senior players performing well below the required level. Some of your criticism seems to contradict your other comments.

Not sure about that ,my point is from watching every week he and many are unsettled during a game .I don't have a problem with players having the ability to play multiple positions during a year not multiple positions consistently during a game , players generally require to be settled in a position yet we seem to move a few consistently during a game.

I think HP makes a good point actually...

Yeah OK. Looks like more new players for Sturt, any idea who will play and how many debutants for the year now? Must be getting close to a full 21! Can you tell us anything about Twopeny,Crocker, Pfeiffer or Greenslade?

Haven't seen a ressies game this year so can't comment on them. I am happy we're using this year to uncover some future talent though...

Johncock reminds me of a certain Motlop that played for North last year and then moved on to another SANFL club.
They both survived in the League only by their surnames.
And yes he did play 4 North. ;)

Johncock showed promise early on but has certainly dropped off in the last 12 months. I like the look of Fraser Evans at CHF and think he is definitely the longer term answer... We'll miss him over the next month...
