It took you all that time to thhink of that ? A troll ....... No worries Barto but you seem a bit precious to me.

I don't feel any need to sack Norman myself but I am certainly not happy with his coaching , I think calling for his sacking proves nothing.

Not wanting to make a big deal of this or anything, but one thing I found odd when reading the coaches comments on the game, Bassett (as I think most coaches do) continually referred to the players performance as "we" and Norman kept referring to his boys' as "they".

Small thing I know, but can have the perception of a coach distancing himself from a less than preferred performance, as I notice that a week earlier the comments all included "we" and "our" after a convincing win.

What can you say, Norwood obviously too good but certainly felt confident at quarter time after pegging back 4 goal deficit to only be 1 down but 2nd quarter killed us.
Seems as though too many of our guys who are unsure in a passage of play are turning over 10 metre handballs and 20 metre kicks. Maybe it's something in the modern gameplan that I'm not aware of but surely it's better to turn the ball over 50 metres downfield than 10.

Does anyone recall the passage of play where and when that Tim McIntyre was reported?

For the record I didn't see anything worth reporting last FRiday night, yet his name has poped
up as reported for Agressive Front On High Tackle ??

Cheers,

Cheers,

Nope, no idea when or for what he was reported and as you said, I didn't see anything that would deem reportable nor was there any crowd reaction to make you think that. Going by the umpiring this year anything could happen I guess.

I recall a Sturt player being reported but had no idea what it was for, so I just forgot about it. Can't recall when, what, how, etc. Then again, as a Norwood supporter, I've been used to seeing futile reports this season.

Interesting observation and a good pick up. Something I didn't notice.
It's all the SANFL's fault.

Agreed, but gives little hope of players being able to show important team 1% like shepparding etc

As opposed to sitting around sniping at people when they post? That's YOUR job. We don't know what sort of supporter you are, you don't even have the courage to list your team.
