With four weeks to go the top eight we have now might be the top eight that line up for the finals. Only one top eight side lost this week as Pidgeridoo got rolled by the inform Stats That Matter with unknown sources black ninjas the only bottom eight team to have a win as they knocked over the Kiwi Krapper's. There are a few teams out of the eight that are a bit unlucky here as REBCats, Jims TigerRoos, Les's Men and black ninja have all outscored Pidgeridoo and Hips Don't Lie but in head to head comps you've actually got to get over the line! Unfortunately, Doggy's prediction about my game with Browny eventuated and he was too good for me and that one might cost me a spot in the eight.

Promotions will be wide open in this league with some tough finals coming up for some very good sides. The relegation battle is a bit clearer. Punky is gone no doubt about it and Relentless 22 and Carp look set to join them. There will also be one very unlucky side that goes down to Divvy IV next year and somehow I reckon it won't be black ninja....I can feel it in me bones! Personally I reckon it's the Kiwi but I spudded it up against him the other week so it might be me. Anyone wanna be the Divvy III skipper next year?

Will be right up against it in my match versus Delicious (2nd), although interesting that we have eleven players in common on the field. May come down to choice of captain - we both have Swan (his captain), but I stuck with Ablett as skipper.

Having Ablett as captain put me right back in contention.
150 behind with 10 to come, Browny has 8 + captain (Pendlebury).
If the players play to their average Browny has me however it will be rain is forecast for the MCG today so Pendlebury's numbers will be down.
Swan will rack up big numbers in difficult conditions and having Dal Santo and Riewoldt under the rooftop will be an advantage.
I can't see North Melbourne letting Fisher doing as he pleases today.
One worry for me is Cloke in the wet.

It will be close.

Carpe Diem: 1317, captain played, 11 players to come
Delicious: 1358, captain to come (Swan), 8 players to play

We both have Sam Fisher, Goddard, Swan, Pendlebury, Nick Riewoldt to come*.
His unique players remaining are Jacobs, Petrie and Franklin.
Mine are Jackson Trengove, Puopolo, Pedersen, Redden, Leuenberger and Chris Dawes.

Will be very close.

I reckon you will pip me here CK. Ablett as captain will be the masterstroke as i cant see Swan getting near 150 today. + 3 players will be a massive advantage and my POD's aside from petrie wont be enough to make up the difference. I need buddy to have an absolute blinder against the pies and i cant see that happening.

Not so sure there, Valleys07. I need Leuenberger and Redden to have big ones to be able to get some sort of break. The former may be able to do so against inexperienced Port rucks, but reckon Port will clamp down on Redden. Should be a very close game here, I reakon.
