Handballmania today
NA made me dizzy
They must have had about 160 handballs
GL had a few as well
I can understand GL handballing, becoz thier kicking disposal was woeful too often
But what was NA excuse, thier disposals were brilliant by foot

My votes

3 ALLAN again whadda player
2 BORAS
3 TONY MODRAS COUSIN

Exactly right.... I saw Chris Kane 1m behind George Thring on the grandstand wing...North get a mark 65m out .Thring creates an option in the forward pocket with a 80m run.Kane takes off with him and totally gives up any chase after 25m and Thring drifts into the pocket with Kane jogging 20m behind.Thring marks totally unopposed and goals from the set shot.
I just happened to have my eyes on Thring/Kane as Thring took off.
One of the most hearltess things I have seen on a League footy field.

I yelled out a derogative comment at James Allan today
In the last quarter the champ passed a ball to a NA player in the forward line
The ball fell short when kicked the to the player on a lead

I yelled this out to the Champ
"" James your 41st disposal was a shocker.""

His disposal skills today were phenominal

Speaking of disposals I have never seen a better pass than that of Backwell's in the first quarter to Boras, a 50 metres laces out bullett to his chest, it was unbelievable!
Ironically it was the one time that Boras stuffed up trying to pass it off with the Bays running it down the other end for a goal.
Boras was very dirty on himself and only having 1 goal to his name at that stage we wondered how he might react.
What a reaction!!!!!!!

Thank god we were in the Foxtel Cup as it was where we discovered Johnny! 8)

As said on another post, he played a couple of games last year, but despite being a full forward in all of his junior career, he was played in defense in his couple of games last year.
