Frees were 8-2 hounds way at the first break, 15-13 at the half, 23-28 for the game, they were as good as we have had this year..

BOS will enjoy the space on offer at St Mary's Park, but have to deal with the top side on the rebound.

CU will like playing on the smaller confines of Webb Oval, could intimidate Glenunga.

Kenilworth would want to bounce back and maintain the top spot while Central United would want to get a good away win to keep them in the race for the top spot.

i think BOS will take KFC this week..osborn and blucher out means moser plays up forward which robs the defence..no ruck to go with ridnell..they have more pace than KFC as well..

the other game will depend on some ins for GFC..but will be a real toss up..

looking forward to BOS v K'worth this saturday. very impressed with how Dean has remodelled BOS after a frustrating 2010 campaign. very tight knit unit playing for each other. the 2's looking stronger every week as well. well done to all involved at the hounds this year.
just hoping the irish dancing comp my daughter is in finishes in time for me to get to st mary's ....

Huge challenge for TOS tomorrow to get our season back on track. Ingle Farm should be very hungry as it is a "4" point game and will keep them alive in the race for finals if they manage to get up. Sam Peters makes his long awaited return from Darwin this week which is a massive gain for the team, and releases O'hara to play the swingman between back and forward and pinch hit in the ruck. The midfield battle will be crucial this week as we fell away in the 2nd half last week against the Units. Were still missing Rogers and Gagliardi in midfield so whoever plays through there has to stand up and win plenty of hardball to get us on the front foot.

Hopefully the B grade can continue their great run of form but Ingle farm knocked us off last year when we thought it was just going to happen for us. Hard work has been the hallmark of their success and if we continue to work hard for one another we should record another win.

i dont think anyone at CLG wont know how important todays game is for us. if we loose this we can kiss finals goodbye and we will be staring relegation firmly in the face. if the boys cant get up and really put in four quarters of tough team footy today then i dont know when we'll be able to do it.

should be a cracker game today at mortlock park today with uni obviously in some good form and with a fairly good team on the park we will have our work cut out for us. no more relying on evans, dawkins and woodsy to get us across the line. we need everybody to step up!

TOS recorded 2 big wins yesterday with both grades getting up by 100+ points. The A grade rediscovered that hunger and consistency that has been lacking in recent weeks. The game was tight early on but TOS broke away midway through the 2nd quarter and went on to post a big win. The B grade continue on their winning way, yet again putting in a hard working 4 quarter effort.

I witnessed a disgraceful act from one of Ingle Farms quality players yesterday, who charged off the field to punch a TOS spectator in the face who was having a scuffle with an Ingle Farm spectator that was mouthing off and told to "shut up and watch the footy" The umpire saw him hit the spectator and rightly showed him the red card.

It is "incidents" like this that give clubs like Ingle Farm and Amateur footy in general a bad reputation. I hope he doesnt play footy again this year because what he did is a joke. He is a very talented young player, but If he is more interested in whats going on off the field then he shouldn't be on there in the first place. The SAAFL need to send a clear message here and show everyone involved in the league that assaulting anyone, let alone a spectator will be punished heavily.

Im in no way having a crack at Ingle farm here, who handled themselves very well up until the incident in the 4th quarter of the A grade. Their B's played the footy all day and took the bad result very well and the A grade was heading in the same direction.

I was on the field at the time so not really sure what started the whole incident. Apparently it was the Ingle Farm players old man that was involved in the initial incident. But for him to leave the field charge at the huge pack of supporters that were scuffling and then launch himself at one of our spectators was a disgrace.

I happened to be standing alongside #14 G.Hawkesworth as all this was happening and I could see how frustrated he was with his playing group. In the whole second half Ingle Farm continued mouthing off at both umpires and players and he was doing his best to try to get his teammates to shut up but it just kept falling on deaf ears. Poor bugger. He gives his heart and soul to that team and plays the footy and the man hard but fair. If only some of his teammates could take a leaf out of his book they would be a much better team for it.

I'm not sure if this is true or not but I heard that the Ingle farm player involved in the incident above has either been forced to leave or told to leave two previous amateur league clubs for serious incidents in the past. As TOSlad said - its a pity because he certainly can play the game.

Just read on the Div 5 forum that umpires need to have their reported offences in to SAAFL by Sunday morning. According to the SAAFL website their has not been a report made, yet the umpire red carded him for the incident. If an official report was not made for striking a spectator that is a disgrace. I hope that the umpire did not go soft because it's all too hard.

Isn't it an automatic report for a red card?

.

Mate, that Ingle Farm spectator happened to be the players father.... the IF spectator was outnumbered by the TRINITY spectators and was on the ground getting laid into.... RIGHTLY so the IF player went over and hit that TRINITY spectator.... All day long Ingle Farm were hard done by the umpires (wouldn't have made a difference in the result mind you) but none of this incident and the other scuffle would not have happened if the umpires had the game under control.....
