In all seriousness though, it will be a good experience for some of the guys. I reckon its a better option than playing a lower grade club and its definately better than an internal. Should be good. The Heffinator is playing, reckons he has the wood on those PHOS guys Are you guys playing anyone this weekend ?

Yeah mate agree with you it will be valuable experience for your pups. Heffs kidding himself played one good game against them and claimed he was a superstar. Tell him good players back it up. He will dominate div 4 though. What time are you going to the footy 2nite i might meet you there. We are playing barossa districts at lyndoch tough road trip first up.

I think you will find both clubs were at a loose end this weekend, it was a last minute thing. Like i said previously, its better than an internal trial. I dont see how its any different than Portland agreeing to a trial against a D6 side. When it all boils down, the result is irrelevant - players just need the run. As long as both sides get something out of it, then all is good.

Portland must have thrown some good money at him, to get him from Gepps Cross. I saw them play a few times last year and he played some good footy with them.

apparently they have trial against golden grove tommorow
have 30 players listed for both grades (so would think 22 will turn up)
might be long day for few players after 8 quarters
