Portland vs smosh was again another great game ruined by umpires, the decisssion that imo changed the game was when smosh player kicked a goal in the last quarter, field umpire over rules goal umpires decission and calls it a point when it was clearly a goal, would have put smosh in from by i think 9 points, Thornton was far to big for his opponent who battled hard all day but was just not able to move the big man, i think he may be carrying an injury but Rae was barely sighted which definatly helped our cause

maybe the goal umpire made the first mistake by giving a decision when unsure?

oh how i miss 'adelaide's most' and his assortment of suede jackets!

supermild performed quite well considering he's been outta the game for almost a year! comfortably beat his player, which was no real challenge as he hardly left the goalsquare..even when leading

its good to finally have a full strength team (or as close to) for the first time this year. hopefully we can get a bit of momentum moving into the second half of the year n maybe snare a few wins

Just a quick comment on the Para Hills vs GG B grade game on Saturday, horrible incident with the PH captain breaking his leg badly and we wish him all the best on his long road to recovery. Don't like seeing that happen to anyone. The PH trainer needs to go have some basic training so that she's not so enthusiastic to get a bloke in serious pain and obvious strife off the field. FFS, it's just a game afterall.... And the PH B grade umpire needs to lay of the Canadian Clubs before the game too.... I'm not saying he was bad because we only played 2 quarters and I know the guy personally thru work and know what he's like but it's not a good look....

But best of luck to Para Hills for the rest of the year. Sounds like they are doing it tough like we are...

The same trainer that walked into the changerooms at the end of the game and told us all that "Jay is going to be ok, IF ANY OF YOU CARE". What a great thing to say..................

i hear p/hills are trying to poach a player from a club just up the road, offering big dollars as well i believe. i think this stinks trying to pick pocket a player from a club that is in a lower division and has been struggling over the last few years. Wouldnt mind if its in the off season but during the year i think its a bit rude, go with what you got and if that aint good enough well bad luck.

I take it they are chasing an Ingle Farm lad. Two players worth throwing coin at are Tremain and Moore.

Last i heard Para Hills were struggling for coin so it would be pretty stupid to start chasing players now and offering coin!
