Didn't think that one thru did you caleb777 ;)
You seem to bring this up quite often. Perhaps you should re-read the history section on your OWN website just to remind yourself of the 150 YEARS history of the Coromandel Cricket Club.

Pretty sure both of these are happening!

Any word on other clubs gains & departures? Surely a few of the WOS lads are going to spread to a few different clubs?

And how so? Surely it's not good to continually change your home base. From AHS to westminster. Yes a good oval, but far from ideal moving across the state every 2 years

Lease not extended on 2 grounds, and when better grounds become available you use them dont you ?
and you missed a ground in there too...

you didnt really answer the question did you ? Better grounds become available you take them dont you ??
across the state really coverking..
Immanual College

Didn't realise Immanuel College was used. What years?
And the answer, is no! Obviously a better oval and deal is helpful, but at the expense of a clubs identity I would say no. Moving the club to 4 different ovals in 12 or so years is laughable IMO (considering the distance between them all). Be different if you moved from grange to Henley for example as they are neighbouring suburbs. The club lacks an identity IMO

AHS then Immanuel..
pretty hard to move to neighbouring suburbs when there are no grounds available

We are hoping to pick up one of Benny Macs mate who we had lat year but didn't play because he did his knee again. Hoping he is keen for a bowl this year because he would easily be the quickest in the comp. I definitely won't be training if he is playing with us again  would be a handy pick up but not banking onhim playing for us!

Nah mate, although he will be handy. He will still be at port I feel, although if he has another year wrecked by hammy and groin problems, he will be with us. Sam someone (forget his last name), played state u/19s a couple years back and played at east torrens. Did one knee and ended up changing to Adelaide where he did his knee again before getting a game in. Works with Benny IIRC

17s was it? my bad!

Him and Ben can be knee buddies throughout the year. He fit in well at the start of last year so hopefully for our sake, he wants a hit and a bowl with Ben and not as serious regime as it is out at district. He will seriously kill people if he gets to bowl on either of the Coromandel pitches

I hope you boys are right. So much build up about how quick the opener from Cove was (Kinnear or whatever his name was). Turned out to be nothing more than a medium at best.
Good thing about coro pitches is that when you bowl short, it usually comes up at 1/4 the pace it came out the hand ;)

On another note, very pleased for the Belair boys for winning their way into section 1!! They'll cause a few upsets this year for sure! Tansell & Mangin are quality bowlers and they have some handy batsman. Not to mention their winning culture. Tipping them for top 6.

My tips (early I know)
1. WYC
2. Coromandel
3. Ramblers
4. Cove
5. Keswick
6. Belair
7. ANA
8. Sheidow Park
9. Morphy park
10. South Road
11. PFCC
12... Who's the 12th haha?

Going to be a very even competition this year I feel. I have no confidence in my predictions at all!!

WYC v Coromandel GF.. CORO premiers!!.... I'm not bias ;) ;)

Jabber (or anyone else in the no) i might be a touch early with this question. But has PFCC aquired a coach yet or made any decisions on captains?

new players to the club or players leaving? or retaining everyone.
