Darel Hart - 3/4's thru 2003.

This weeks game - regardless of the "mess" at the Bay the game was always going to be an unknown re possible winner. North have been close and with a bit more luck could have or should have had 6 wins.

Glenelg might come out "free" of the Mickan and co. Constraints but also a new coach, new style, some sweeping selection changes not to mention at least 1 assistant coach gone, they may be too unsettled.

North - due to eventually beat Glenelg however our record at the Bay over the past number of years is better than at home so it is time for the "chooks" to beat Glenelg. The other advantage we have is that we did rest some key players last weekend so that could be a factor too?

In any event this should be game that attracts plenty of interest and hopefully might drag some Glenelg supporters to Prospect where they have had a dismal turnout over the years.

North can not win this game. Too many outs and young kids coming in will be facing an outfit that is being BELTED by the press and the members as being part of the problem at the Bay. They will come out breathing fire, so look out. When you get a smack in the gob you react.

Note to NAFC catering volunteers. Bring in the reinforcements to man the Bar and the Barby. Can see plenty of tigers fans coming over to watch the stoush.

Ken Sheldon was sacked in May 1996. South of course came out and thumped North the next weekend. Was John Cahill sacked from South?

And as OTR said Darel Hart was sacked during the year.

I thought JC walked from South.

Anyways this is getting off-topic. Reckon I'll copy-and-paste elements of the above over to the history forum.
