Yes would be great for Districts, but doesnt say much about the character of the guy to quit Port Adelaide for a second time...

Is this confirmed? I think Districts have increased their weekly player spend for the 2nd half of the year, i know they have spoken to some other Port players and offered to bump up their match payments if they commit fully to Districts.

My understanding is that it's family related and can't commit to the extensive training of SANFL footy.
What does that say about your character, having a go at bloke for putting his family in front of football

Snake_Eyes wrote:here is a story i heard from in the D2R game Modbury vs PDFC
A PDFC player hip and shouldered a modbury player (was a good fair hit) an umpire (port districts supplied umpire) was 5 metres away, the other umpire (modbury umpire) was 60 metres away and called the free kick. As expected, a few disgruntled players and supporters voiced thier opinion, as the modbury umpire went back to his position, the PDFC captain was down that end and politely questioned the call, the umpire replied with "Mate, worry about getting a kick, your mum has had more kicks then you!" The PDFC captain pointed to a part of the oval and said "She is sitting over there, why dont you ask her how many kicks she has had!"
From all reports, the modbury umpire was fairly unprofessional and it showed with some of the decisions he made and let go. Had to mention that call though, never thought i would hear an umpire say that....
