Funny no-one has mentioned this,and I have over the years spent much time wondering about it.My ancestors.I would love to see how my direct bloodlines spent much of the last 200 years.Of Welsh background,and from what I can gather a very working class family (if they were lucky enough to work) I think it would be fascinating.

I'm not saying I wish to live like them,just see how they lived.

Don Dunstan

There is a lot of mythology about Dunstan. He is the cause of many of the problems we have in SA today, no railway system to speak of, no decent cross city transport system. Dunstan sold the railways and much of the land that had been purchased for the MATS freeway system, to balance the books, he was the first of that breed of politicians who see no further than the next election, no grand vision, Mike Rann is a fitting heir. Many of the social and artistic reforms he took credit before were begun under the Hall/Millhouse government that preceeded him. Having said that he was colorful and helped the state throw of our wowser image, but he was certainly no saint. My list in rough chronological order.
