Are you aware what happened?

Well first off, Umpire Mark herrmann paid a very simple holding the ball. Next the player stands up and drops the ball on the ground and of course as standard the 50 was paid. Then allegedly <players name removed> from Hahndorf ran up the umpire and starts abusing him using extremely threatening language. For this a yellow card was giving. At this point allegedly the offending player punched the umpire with great force straight to the head and knocked him out.
Then after trying to fight the whole Onkas team, the kid then jumped the fence and allegedly attemted to bash a lady (maybe 40yrs old) in the crowd.
This was the craziest thing ive even seen in football. What i didnt see but was told later, apparently the kid jumped out of a moving car and tried to fight more spectators on the way out. I was also informed the Hahndorf FC was very embarresed and did apologise to the OVFC.
If the player gets anything short of a LIFE BAN it will be a joke.

Amazing. A similar thing happenned in the gsfl too not long ago.

Can anyone from Handorf or anyone having seen the kid play, tell us whats he like normally? is he a short tempered guy? because even those with the shortest of fuses dont hit umpires!!!

On another note the competetion just gets better and better in the A grade. Lobey and torrens valley will both need massive 2nd half's to make finals while onkas, handorf and ironbank look to be fighting for 5ht spot. the difference may be claiming a top 4 scalp, which ironbank have done twice now.

Looking at blackwoods A grade team list neither gigney or Roach played senior footy. with finals fast approaching this blackwood would want to get these 2 back in quick smart trying to give them game time before finals. BB care to tell us whats going on there?

Also noticed that David Murphy played A grade on the weekend. Should strenghten their title chances.

On another note, why was Rowett playing in Blackwoods B grade? Most people would have him in Blackwoods best 21. Is there a points problem out there, even so there would be a few others that would go down before Rowett. Able to shed any light BB??? Seems strange.

Have heard he has had anger issues in the past.

Once after giving away a free kick he ran off the field and continued to run home (He lives in Hahndorf.) Very Forrest Gump like.

Due to the matter of a player allegedly hitting an umpire causing legal action and he alleged person being a minor we've removed his name from the previous posts, please don't re-post it.
Thank you.

Just wondering how long it took the Blackwood trainers to stop the bleeding of 21 footballers' ears after the game on Saturday? That would have to be the loudest and longest spray I have heard in a very long time, making the win all that little bit sweeter!

Points issue it is, Blackwood played with their maximum 10pts on saturday including a -1 by playing a junior.

Roache was sick (pulled out Sat morning) and Gigney needed 2 weeks break, not just one!

Murphy played?
The young players not good enough at the Barkeroos? Please tell me the likes of Scott and Eichner etc got a run. What about Shillatoe, he towelled up Lobethal last time, where is he at? Big mistake putting the old guys back in the team, it will hurt in the longer run.

Eichner and Shillatoe both played b's. Hard to blame Mt barker though, they need their best 21 in to win the flag and murphy will help them do that. Creates competition for spots.

Probably had little or no effect on the senior players as I heard some of them joking about the display inside the club afterwards. I guess that's the problem when you coach your mates, they don't take you seriously most of the time.

I pretty sure Rowett is a zero pointer so it puzzles me as to why he was playing Bs. I think Rowett himself was puzzled by it too.
