I chose Nth Ballarat as my winner solely for Victorian Success Conspiracy Reasons !

North should beat Labrador, but will almost certainly face Port in a QF.

North Ballarat travel to Perth first round and if they win will then play there second game in either Darwin or Queensland.
Thats your idea of a draw to rort and help a Victorian side win this comp is it ?
Get ya head outa ya ass pal.

Have removed head from ass to ask the question - how do you know that North Ballarat play their 2nd game in Darwin or Queensland? Yes they play the winner of Morningside/NT Thunder but no venues for the 2nd round have been announced. Have now returned head back to ass.

Ok mate may have been a bit nasty in my responce but Nth Ballarat have been told already they will def play second game in Darwin if NT Thunder advance past round 1. Just get a bit sick of the AFL V SANFL crap.

It will be interesting to see West play Ainslie first up. I don't think it will be as easy as some expect. Ainslie won the 2010 premiership in the ACTAFL, which contained the Sydney Swans reserves side - who went top then bombed out in straight sets (from memory).
Ainslie are one of the richest sides outside the AFL with a massive leagues club style premises on the fringe of Canberra. They'll no doubt lose players from last season, but they'll also pick some up as well. An unknown quantity some might say.
Looking down the clearances list - there doesn't seem to be a lot of clearances in of note, however, they've lost Inkster to the Riverland league and Burke to Sydney.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/League_Cha ... up#Fixture
SA sides versus Ainslee, East Coast and Labrador, guaranteeing at least one semi final with an SANFL side IF Port and North beat the latter two in the "Round of 16".
VFL sides versus two WAFL sides (in Perth) and GWS at home first up.
Without taking any results as fait accompli, nor attempting to belittle any given side or league, I'd suggest that IF any of the three traditionally strongest current state leagues had a pre-scripted "advantage" then it wouldn't be the VFL (nor the WAFL for that matter.)
Oh, a belated Happy New Year VS.

Yeah I didn't know that about Ainslie until I was flicking through a weekend paper today and noticed Ainslie advertising for a new CEO.
They comprise several sporting clubs and tens of thousands of members.
Seem to be the Canberra equivalent of Southport perhaps.

Cheers straydog, im not sure if sportsbet are aware but any listed AFL player on North Ballarat or Williamstown and Northern Bullants list can play in this comp if not selected by there AFL teams that weekend.
They can pick the same side they would any week in the VFL.
Last year North Ballarat had an average of 7 Kangaroos each week while the Bullants and Williamstown had about 14 or 15 listed AFL players each week.
If Willy are serious about this comp they should be about $3.00.
They have lost 2 players that kicked over 130 goals between them last year but are still one hell of a good side with those Bulldogs listed players playing.

Didnt they want to give players National Exposure yet had some of their best sitting in the grand stand.
Personally i would be pretty dissapointed if i was a supporter and wasted money on that.
