Tends to explain why the Bays looked shagged from about the 3 minute mark......how close do you think you would have got tomorrow ???

 maybe we saw the difference, playing at home with more than 17 fit players. Great first quarter, brilliant fast movement of the ball. The bays were pretty insipid, terrible skills ( generally), though they took a couple of good grabs. Great to see the young inexperienced players stepping up and getting games under their belt. Lee spurr great marking exhibition. Good to see us win the centre square.

The Bays want the Queens Bday game, and they sign off on the schedule at the start of the season. Plenty of time to prepare for it. But if you want to make excuses go for it.

Cant read? I said its not an excuse.

Dogs also request no Sunday games, conceeding to local soccer, very lame excuse

We gave you a chance earlier in the year with a 14 day break and you couldn't manage to beat us then either. I would like to play you every week. It would be great for our percentage.

I for one am very happy with the result. Was fearing a total blowout before the game but am glad that Glenelg kept the margin to a respectable level. Onward and upwards Bays!

Very happy with that win! :D

Only really got two other things:

1. MICKAN IS GGGGGGOOONNNEEE!!!
2. Nice handball from Ian Callinan to get that last goal of the 3rd quarter. ;) 8)

* Coaches award went to Alan Obst.
* Runner up best player went to Ian Callinan
* Best player went to Lee Spurr.

Just wait until we get all our injured players back!!!

One of the things that has always been an ongoing issue for the GFC is adjusting their game plan to suit the much larger Ovals of Football Park and the Ponderosa. I remember one SAFC match with Ken Sheldon screaming at the players that he wanted at least three steps before they kicked the ball because of the difference that it made. The Bays just really seem to struggle in making the transition.

Central on the other hand are just a machine, to do that to Glenelg with an injury depleted side should be a real worry for the rest of the sides in the SANFL (As usual).

That will be enough to get a game with the Crows next week.

Wouldn't read too much into a 15 goal loss ???? Given the current form and rumours at Glenelg , I'd read a lot into it.

Lets hope Mickan is there in 1012?

Something the Bays need I think.

Time to give the great man a 10 year contract.

Wouldn't read too much into an absolute pounding that saw a frankly flattering scoreline in the end because of a 5 day break, but then trying to say that's not an excuse?

Glenelg were comical today. From the first bounce all they did was provide comedy to the bulldogs faithful. Was good to see the kids get a run, get some more gametime into J. Gowans, I Callinan and C. O'Sullivan.

No Havelberg, Hayes, C. Gowans, Slattery, Dutschke, Nash, O'Hara, Boyd or Hardy? No worries. Kids were great. Barmby, Templeton and Reichert looked like seasoned veterans down back and tore the Glenelg forwards apart. Obst and Williams made the Glenelg defense panic all game long. In between there were a bunch of black and gold clowns performing circus tricks watching the dogs dominant midfield run past time and time again.

Cornes should retire or start to care.

Interesting you say that Grahaml.

You expect the man to win a game for the bays?

Was he that bad...?

Was he played out of position just to get a game...?

Where did he play?

Where would you play him?

It's bad enough being embarrassed on the field but comments like this just compound the issue ... as the great John McEnroe used to say ... You cannot be serious!

But obviously not a good psychologist..
Which is what good coaches, whatever level, have to be these days.
Especially with under achieving clubs such as Glenelg.
If one person does it, it's insanity. If millions do it, it's religion.
