Never rated Hill, and he's had a fair bit of time to develop and have a decent impact on games. Glad we got Weigh, definitely upgraded IMO.

The Sydney Kings with another good signing now getting young aussie Anatoly Bose who had been playing at Nicholls State Uni in the US.

Also the Kings Luke Cooper and the Hawks Rhys Martin have been added to the Boomers squad for the two game series against China (YouYi Friendly Games) starting Friday week in Perth, supposedly One HD are considering televising the game on delay. I doubt the second game in Singapore would be on the cards.

Daniel Dillon (194cm, 90kg, Melbourne Tigers)
Peter Crawford (193cm, 88kg, Townsville Crocodiles)

The Boomers just managed to get over the line in Overtime in what was a pretty scrappy game. For mine no one really stood out for the Boomers Nevill just misses too much cheap stuff under the basket but Wang Shipeng got hot from outside at one point and Wang Zhi-Zhi made some good veteran plays including the iso against Nevill late when he took him to the hole.

Game 1

Australia 67 (Nevill 20, D. Martin 11) def China 65 (OT) (Wang Shipeng 22)

Boomers lead the series 1-0

Game 2 from Singapore is on One HD Sunday night at 11:30pm.

Agreed, Ronaldson was pretty ordinary. It's strange because he was decent during the NBL season. I can't really handle that Lachie Reid guy though, he's normally the Wildcats courtside announcer I think.

Pretty sure we're getting both of them again for Game 2 tonight.
