I had a feeling you would not pick your team.

HP, MT79 while he is a great bloke he is a pessimistic person, however i agree i can't see how we can win either especially if we go that defensive zoned garbage, happy to be proven wrong though
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

I guess it could change but so far not according to Mark Ross on the Club's game preview I'm afraid...

The Reserves will see the return of Tom Beilby, Jesse Aish, Nick Ramsey & Gavin Hughes from their injury concerns provided they can all complete training on Saturday whilst David Rodan will have a run for a half the game time.

Pitt played under state under 18's two years ago (or three), skinny midfielder who moves well without having express pace. One of those young guys that as his body develops he is likely to make a good SANFL footballer. No standout special quality to make you go wow but likewise no major problems with his game. Outsideish wingman or at least that is what he use to be. I haven't seen him play this year.

Agree that would be pretty handy, but (just guessing) Im not sure the Power would risk him through another 1-4 games after their season had ended (and rightly so given the quality of player, his injury history and their current situation)

I'd love to go to see this game as a neutral supporter, but unfortunately I can't.

What sort of crowd are we expecting?

From Mark's game preview on the Club website...

Tom Jonas could not be considered after having surgery on some ligament damage to his hand.

Should get 6k plus on the public holiday. Have these two sides played on the holiday before ( I think so??)If so and they get good crowds why not leave it and makeit a traditional long weekend game . That is what should happen IMO .

Pretty sure we played on the Queens Birthday long weekend about 5 years ago (when Aust beat Japan in the World Cup) ... Here's hoping for a better performance than that day when a Borlace goal after the halftime siren (our first) reduced the deficit to around 93 points

Down here at the Bay now, the ground bathed in sunshine. A slight breeze blowing to the northern end but only 2 goals at most.

David Rodan out in the ressies for the Redlegs.
