What a waste of talent if Jones goes back to Mypo...

Imps rather poor again today despite outscoring Mannum after quarter time... Need to pick some things up over the week off...

Well I am surprised with those results.

I thought Meninge may had finally clicked as I definately dont think they are as bad as some of the performances so far this year. If Jones is playing for mypo it will be a great pick up.

Tailem beating Jervois was to be expected, going to be a hard team to beat if they get a sniff early in the game

And Mannum over Imps not hugely surprising but I still think the blues are the stronger of the two.

Imps V Ramblers next round will be interesting. If Imps have a loss, it would make 3 in a row and I dont think that would have happened for a long time

Perhaps their play?? Just a few things not quite clicking at the moment... Have had a lot of injuries at the start of the year and a few guys starting to slot back in again..... Just not playing well at the moment....

Big Trewren was awesome yesterday with 7 goals..... And as Collo said at 3 quarter time its just a bit of bad luck and Imps would've probably been level at 3 quarter time.... Yes they lost by 5 goals in the end, but the game was much closer than that.....

Will be interesting to see after the Long Weekend break Imps v Ramblers... might be just what Imps need to get fired up and back on track... Although the slow start killed them again yesterday.... Wouldn't want to give the Chooks a start again....

From the Outer, to me it seems like MrWilly is saying Collins is a good coach and what I have seen I think the same, I have seen him talk to the boys at qtr breaks and i would of love a coach like that in my prime yrs he brings out the potential in the boys but I just think he needs a backup structure, a fall out option just incase a team does get a few goals early in first qtr like ramblers, mannum and meningie have .

Correct. Not that I have played under him, but listening to him talk and the way he conducts himself, I think he is a great coach.

Just need to fix the starts.....

Imps will be ok everyone! Watch for the 2 new recruits before the end of June, I mean you can only back your Kids in for so long

You are on the money Goldberg. I see Imps are winning the u17s by a mile and none of those kids are playing A grade Football. You would think that one or two of those could easily play.

Find it really hard to believe that Imps will recruit now. Collins will still back the team he has got. And yes i also agree that maybe there should be a couple of the under 17 lads given a crack there is some real talent in that group and why not blood a few of them in the A grade now instead of waiting until they all come up next year and have no A grade experience.

Sam DeMichele is eligible for under 17s and has played A grade this year but is currently injured......

6 or more of the current group also played with Sturt's under 16's this year and would make up the majority of the better players - so these guys are only 15 years old!!!! You can't have them playing league footy at such a young age... I don't think there would be too many of the top age players who would be ready for A grade football.... I would think a fair majority of them will be playing B grade next year....

Fair point Mr Willy was not sure of a lot of the kids ages. But have seen a couple of the U17 games this year and noticed there is a bit off class getting around out there. But in saying that it is a massive step for a young lad to go from U17 footy where he is playing against lads his own age and size to playing against grown men.

Age has nothing to do with it. They're either ready or not. Imps need to blood more young locals, will only help them in the long run.

You would let your 15yr old son, that doesn't have any bulk to him play a grade football against guys like Clive waterhouse, ladhams these boys then won't improve 1 because they have to get hang of speed of a 17s game then 2 they are way to small wouldn't win the 50-50ball which then there confidence will go out the window

And about Collins recruiting because there struggling what a joke, to have only lost 3 games and all the same reason (slow start) there is all new coaching staff a grade and b grade, new structure and jumping on Shane Collins back I think more should look at jervois now sitting outside top 5 and recruited heavily to play in top 3 and not close wouldn't you think ladhams is the coach in strife
