There's was more chance of B.Woodards getting picked in the Landmark Cup squad, than the sun coming up tomorrow morning.
The guys a gun. Is he captain??

yep i seen that and its where he should be playing. Trent goes ok but is very small and the big bodies just throw him around like a rag doll. But it is good to see him back playing a i beleive he suffered a pretty bad leg injury some time ago.

There's less chance of Woodards being captain than the sun going down tonight. Chris Stacey should get the nod I feel. I agree though Dogga can play but he has to realise sometimes you have to find your own ball.

Who's Dogga?
if it's Brett it sounds like a nickname he might give himself.
Stacey would make an excellent vice captain to Woodards.
Is good to see the selectors know a thoroughbred when they see one.
Have heard his father is already taking 'siring' offers for when he eventually goes out to stud.

Woodards came to Southern Flinders carrying the nickname "Dogga" according to the local paper. There's no way a wide reciever - no matter how classy he is once he gets the ball - will be an association captain under Justin Duffy. Trust me!
The job is Stacey's

He obviously tipped the local paper off at what his 'preferred' nickname would be,
Have never heard him called Dogga in my life.

Put on a clinic today with BOG and 7 goals.
Odds are firming for the mail medal.

7 Goals? The Dogga would've been believing his own hype.
If he isn't captain of the Landmark cup side I will plough my cornfields and build a baseball diamond.
If I build it, he will come.

It would be good if someone on here posted some details of Woodards. I think he came from Gawler Central via Central Districts reserves but I really have no idea. He is a class act at this level no doubt about it. If he doesn't shine in the team at Snowtown I'd be surprised

I think someone got confused when Snowtown was mentioned in a post.
Robbo went to Blyth-Snowtown this year, which is not in this league.
Robbo and Woodards are both former Angaston players.
We made Woodards into the juggernaut he is now and would be very surprised
if he doesn't mention us in his captains speech after the Landmark Cup game.
