Nan passed last night, before most of the family were able to say goodbyes.
Pop then had a stroke and is recovering in RAH.

Certainly gives you a reality check on your own mortality too. When it comes to the crunch we could all just be a moment away from a similar fate. Live life to the full, make every day count, and tell your loved ones that you love them as often as possible, cause you never know what hand you're gonna be dealt next.

watching Customs on ch 9 and a woman was busted smuggling in 18kg of weed.

Pleaded guilty got 9 months jail in UK

Poor Shappelle getting 20yrs for 4kg...

Just not fair.

Terrible news 7-Dog, condolonces to you and your whole family mate, it's hard enough losing 1 family member let alone 2... :(

When I was 17, I did not drink, did not smoke. I trained for footy two nights a week, and often played two games on a saturday.

Fast forward nearly seven years, and after nearly 12 months without serious physical exercise, I start footy training tonight.

After an hour and a half, I finish early, my back is killing me, and I can hardly breathe...

I turn 24 next month, and now I think I'm paying for the "enjoyment" of the last few years of my life...

Finding out that someone you've known like a sister since childhood is very sick in hospital with leukemia.
All happened/diagnosed within the past 2 weeks.

Tonight find out that she's in a very bad way and has picked up a 'bug'.

:cry:

I am ignorant when it comes to this disease - don't know much about it - but I hope and pray that she pulls through.

Fingers and toes crossed for you mum, hope she pulls through. Cruel disease Leukemia and can turn from bad to worse at the click of a finger.
