I think the same thing happened in the GF last year.

Another point I would like to raise is a few occasions yesterday (and probably a lot in other games) where the umpire stops play and straightens up the the player taking the kick. Granted if a player is in a position to take a shot for goal the kicker should be on the correct angle but if its way down the ground and doesn't make an impact on the play, why stop play, let the game go on. We all know umps miss some decisions but too technical on others.

Happened in 1996...the legendary 23 minute last quarter. Norwood got up by a point at Elizabeth Oval...

I witnessed scenes that i've never seen since at a Footy match!   Caused mostly because of the rule change that year and the club forgetting to paint the clock section between the 20 to 25 minute in yellow. Siren went and everyone went apeshit because the clock "showed" we hadn't entered time on yet (when we had because of the new rule change).

This, coming from the same group of supporters who thought it was so funny that Simoin Phillips had his jaw broken last year.

Did Hayes cop one behind play? A bit different to Simion Phillips getting his jaw busted whilst the ball was in the immediate vicinity, this has been done to death, he was not found guilty so move on....or shall We keep harping on about Macca's cowardly attack on Dew all those years ago? It's pointless. Get over it.

The one where Dew squealed like a little pig and then "dobbed" at the Tribunal to cost Macca a Premiership??? Fat Mongrel.

oh dear fester
1) is he a "little pig"or a "fat mongrel"
2) "sqealed"- had to go off under blood rule and Macca got reported off the video later
3) "dobbed" - he did not attend the tribunal. Looking pretty dumb about now fester
4) Macca still got a medal thanks to that fool Popplestone calling him up, rightly so Macca looked embarassed.

So Norwood are premiership favorites then. Congrats. You beat what was pretty much a reserves team from last year with a sprinkling of experienced players. Any half decent team would of flogged us yesterday. Great effort legs. Keep patting backs

A little over half the team played in last years premiership. More than a "sprinkling".

How this site can ban Centurion but allow fester's defamatory comments is beyond me.

Whatever gets you through the night buddy.

Every Norwood supporter I know is bitterly disappointed by yesterday's performance.

60 CD

There is 1 minor round game left to be played
And a maximum of 2 Finals if either side are good enough to make the finals
That being the case CD are still a mathematical hope of being 63 all by seasons end

Last 5 games at the Parade including yesterday

NW 1
NW 3
NW 6
CD 1
CD 2

13 points in total margins added together for the last 5 games at the Parade
The game rd 23 2009 was a one sided game
NW 10-15 CD 9-15

Sorry Centurion, a touch dramatic perhaps. I do not like night games and the fewer (preferably none) we play in the better.

I can see I'll have to pin my hopes on the league's most exciting side, North, with a hat trick of winnable home games coming up, to rip up the competition and give Centrals something to think about in the GF.

Good onya Bags, you know what Im trying to say .. You should PM it to Dedja, just to keep him up to speed
