Would be amazed if Galagher didn't have the op now. Seems odd to announce he needs one then put it off. Unless the club was just preloading the excuse for him.

Looks like the Dogs will need to find a replacement for Tom Dunne, I believe he has been suspended for 1 match after being found guilty of striking North's Luke Teasdale.

If he did get one game, thats a bloody joke. Happened right in front of us and there was nothing in it, disgrace.

Unfortunately he's not eligible for the "AFL Listed Player" discount.

Are you serious? It was the softest report I think I've seen. Absolutely nothing in it.

I am serious cennals - a 1 match ban confirmed (if not for a good record and discount accordingly, it would have been a 2 week ban)

It was certainly high contact and low impact. I can only imagine they're arguing that it wasn't intentional.

Was stupid and lacking discipline anyway. Given the injury toll and the fact the kid was trying to keep a spot when blokes come back it's a massive blow for him if he does miss out. But he'd only have himself to blame. Only thing that was ever going to come out of that incident was the book.

To make matters worse it looks like Ian Callinan is still a week away from resuming from injury.

The Central District Football Club are appealing the 1 week suspension handed down by the Tribunal to Thomas Dunne and his hearing will take place this evening.

Callinan has a slight thigh strain by all reports, so will be rested 1 more week to err on the side of caution.

WOW, quite a few changes to the side this week with the Crows taking both Symes and Gunston while Hardy must not be able to play through the injury. Possible debuts for Jacob Templeton and David Haydon.

Could still be another change as well if T.Dunne's tribunal ban appeal isn't upheld, later tonight.

Hmmm.....We have a fairly unsettled side at the moment due to some fairly nasty injuries BUT Norwood's side doesn't really impress Me either. We don't handle Norwood Oval that well but Our side is fairly flexible & due to this fact only, I believe that We will win, by 8 points.

Yep, you're right, We're stuck with....

Luke Habel - Daniel Havelberg - Chad O’Sullivan - Chris Gowans - Andrew Hayes - Kyle Jenner - Trent Goodrem - Paul Thomas - Edward Sansbury - Yves Sibenaler -
Jarrod Schiller - Luke Barmby - Corey Reichert - Alan Obst - Jason Sutherland - Ryan Williams - Lee Spurr

A fairly good nucleus of a side, methinks.

Outs for CD are: Boyd, Schell, Nash, Lawry, Mackenzie, Dutschke and O'Hara (7). Maybes/Doubtful at the moment, Hayes, Gunston, J Gowans, Sibenaler and Callinan.(potentially 5, but could be none). I imagine Norwood's will be quite different also.

So looks like the outs from last years premiership side will be Boyd, ,schell, lawry Nash Mackenzie dutschke o'hara, gunston, j gowans, and callinan. Ten players. I'd be interested to know norwoods outs.
