PAC at Cane Reserve at 12.15. Really looking forward to this game. I cant wait to come up against the least scored against defence in our comp. We will be with out a few very important players but will expect those out on the park to play with heart, courage and respect as deeman has taught all year. Anyone who might be looking for a good earlier game of footy to watch head down to Cane Reserve just down the road from the Bombay Bicycle Club. Should be another cracking game of footy. They all have so far at home.

Well done to Ovingham!! Massive win today against a very good club, the club has come along so far since the start of the season and given the club situation last two years, it's been a terrific story and come back!
Who would've thought before the season that Ovies would a) have a side b) be competitive and c) win regular games!!!
Very proud to be apart of a club that works for each others and for the right reasons, and are focussed on achieving common goals :)

Well said by Latte Lad and im sure it will be another great tussle in the return match whichever way that result goes. As for someone else all I can say is Sour Grapes dont win football games. Courage, team work and RESPECT go further to winning football games.

it was a good game on saturday with the match being played between the players in good spirits
the reds structured up well and were very disciplined in their game plan and style
they did fall into the same trap a lot of teams do when visiting the cattery in that when seeing the size of the ground they believe that every goal can be scored from outside the arc
we were disciplined and still kept to our core structures and put the ball into the danger spot when ever we had the chance
last game of the first half this week and with upto six players due back spots are going to be tough
we stand as one
we fight as one
we win and lose as one
we are one

Some quality players to come in will make it very competitive for spots over the next couple of weeks. I know that I have struggled in my first couple of weeks back and will hopefully put more then a couple of quarters of good footy in to help out Owie, Wrighty and the flash 'Plugger' out more in the second half of the season. Really looking forward to Walkerville this weekend at Walkerville. I think it will be a good game of footy and will expect Walkies to come out guns blazing on their home ground especially as they are coming into the game with pretty good form beating SPOC by 6 goals on the weekend.

good point and we have had only two to three players attract points under the system
out of the 14 to 15 army guys we got only 7 have played afl before
the rest are all rugby or touch football players and their for new to the game
as well as that the majority of the squad, and we have 50 players now registered, are re-entering the game after years out
the players we have attracted from other clubs were mainly b and c grade players that were not wanted by their clubs but to my way of thinking were not appreciated by their former homes
we have attracted three points under the new system even tho we were given an excemption and allowed to go to a higher amount
hope that answers your post

thats all i can go by
if they had been truly appreciated by former clubs i would have thought they might have put up a fight imo

Yeah y would a club grant a clearance straight away if they know the player wants to leave. May as well stuff them around until the last day and then give the clearing club a bad name. Some clubs just accept people want to move on and clear them.

not saying that i disagree with you but the boys told me that when they approached their clubs they were not asked why or if they would rethink
bedgie never resulted in any points
