I think there lies the problem for west , too defernsive. It's only 1 game but I sense West will play in a Elimination final due to this boring style .They get away with it against the lower sides but the better sides they seem to struggle to score , time will tell .

Big Phil. In your opinion best players for both teams. How did Pfeffifer go on his return to the league team?

west = woeful
norwood = very good

i thought norwood worked harder all night than west & this was evident when norwood outnumbered west at the fall of the ball at just about every contest, even when west got the ball they had no time to dispose of it & either got pinged or turned it over in the tackle, the more they booed eagleton the better he played, other good players for them were the usual suspects, i like the way schulz & shenton play up forward along side bown, tonight blew the theorey of no walker no norwood right out the door

best players for west nil imho

the jury was out for me whether norwood were going to be a force this year with the losses from last years team, well after watching them tonight (earlier games as well) the game plan is the same just a few players are different & yes they'll be a top 3 team come finals time

if games tomorrow go to my way of thinking we'll have central on 14 points & the next 4 teams on 10 points
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Well done Norwood, far too good tonight.

Terrible performance....should have been beaten by alot more. Couldnt pick a decent player for West. Memmories of our performances from 2008 came back. Norwood were far more committed and our skills were just terrible.

Well done to the Norwood fans, very vocal and came out in good numbers.

To the umpires, I dont go to the footy to see you so stop interfering with the game.... you were crap tonight. To many times they didnt pay the obvious ones and then paid an incorrect decision.

Having watched all westies games this season, Norwood were a class above all teams ( we got Centrals on an off night).

Was hoping to see some sort of fightback or resilance from west, but never happened which was disappointing.

Thought Pfeiffer was one of norwoods best.

West were terrible, couldn't hold a tackle nor break one. No way did the umpiring cost the game, but it was bloody terrible and comical at times. No feel for the game, too whistle happy. Wouldn't want such a display in a close game or

I thought his endeavor was great but thought his skills were quite average for him, he got better as game went on but i dont think he was worthy of being in best. Maybe a bit harsh on him but only because i expect heaps from him, was great he got through game and he will be back to best soon.
Bryce definalety BOG for me with gallagher, jonas, suckling,macca and eags. Terlich played his best game for a while as did shenton. Plenty to like and good to see a good turnout of norwood supporters.

Rowey played well in ruck, just wish he had a bit of mongrel in him, couple of times he pulled out when he could run through someone legitimately

Terrible performance by the bloods tonight. Nearly 100 less possessions says it all.

Piasente and Hartlett should have been playing 2s tonight due to lack of match fitness. Both really struggled. How S Ezard and Blesing got dropped I'll never know. Both were far from our worst last week.

Need Fisher and Fergy back big time.

Umpiring dreadful. Thank god it had no influence on the result.

Silvester our only winner imho. Morris and Willits tried hard as usual though.

Is Jimmy Ezard injured? Seems to be playing alot more forward than he does in the midfield the last few weeks.

Great team effort by Norwood. Didn't think they had any outstanding players. All did their jobs.

End the evening in provisional second, will finish the round there if Glenelg beat the Eagles at home.
