Satchel has the carton of red cans - don't let him tell you any differently.

As Fisty was nowhere to be seen on the night, he is not to partake in any drinking of said carton.

Wasn't there a portland forum for this sort of rubbish?

We're in hell right now gentlemen. Believe me. And we can stay here, get the shit kicked out of us, or we can fight our way back into the light. We can climb outta hell... one inch at a time.

Would very much doubt that even Seaton could not afford them. Think your source is playing with you

We have heard this a lot this year even last. Is he actually going to pull on the boots this time? Is he up to the grade he coaches or will he be lifting a player from ther lower grade to help numbers? Dont get me wrong i think his leadership would be great for the side but will that stop aniother from getting the benefit being rewarded by going up a grade?

The individual would benefit but as a club we will benefit more having Andrew play cant please everyone. Only 21 spots on the field, someone has to miss out. Dont exactly have much coming through the B grade either. A couple more injuries on the weekend as well.

Him playing might just b the spark we need. Those losses under 10 points all of a sudden turn into wins. I think his fitness level will surprise a few.

Great for the club great for the league.

Portland won by a couple goals over Mitcham. Close game all day until Portland finished with the last 3 goals. We finished the game with no bench which showed in the last quarter as Portland overran us with good run and use of the handball. Laslett did a ripper job on Rowe and got plenty of the ball himself. All in all a great game of footy... Disappointing result but already looking forward to the return leg at the end of the season!

Went to Seaton v SMOSH & saw a terrific game of footy, it was the Sean Coard show in the 1st half amassing 24 possessions & absolutely dominating. Why Coard was left unattended baffled me, he had the ball on a string & must of stunk of B.O.
I thought SMOSH played too defensive on Seaton with at times playing a 4 man fwd line & 8 man defence.
Seaton were at their best & it was a fitting result as a young Seaton A grade player lost his father during the week & you could see they wanted to win this for him, my sympathy goes out to him & his family.
Well done to Portland on the weekend, i must admit i gave them no show of beating Mitcham but they proved me wrong & showed they will be a force this year as this is their best start they've had to the year for a long time, well done to "supercoach" Ricky Pearce. ;)
