if we played like we did against collingwood for 3rd quarters we should beat brisbane and particularly at home.

Will win comfortably.

Walker to come back in if he doesn't get suspended? Have seen some vision and didn't think there was much in it to be honest, but he did leave the ground which we know tribunals don't tend to like. It wasn't front on and he had his arm tucked in though.

Just generally - does anyone have any updates on other injured players?? Vince, Callinan, and MacKay in particular are the ones I'm interested in.

Callinan playing in SANFL in a couple weeks.
Vince might be ok to play this week.
McKay still 4 weeks.

So the key to this season is that in this next month we need to snaffle a few wins and not add to the injury list. If we can do that, I think we will be playing finals footy again.

On this game - big JB is a bit of a worry. He's traditionally struggled against us but that was with the Bock/Rutten combo. I don't know if Rutten alone will be able to stop him.

He is the only concern though. Weather looks good at this stage, back on our home deck, we should do the job.

Changes this week lads?

For the first time this season there is a bit of pressure at the selection table with Walker, Symes and Brodie Martin all putting their cases forward.

Provided there are no new injuries this weekend that pressure will grow again next week with Vince and Callinan returning from injury. Otten will have another game under the belt as well, although reports are he didn't look all that super on the weekend for South.

I would expect Walker to come back in this week, and I would like it to be at the expense of Henderson. Tambling could be at risk too, possibly for Symes. Will be interesting to see what side is named this week.

Have to say the line up is looking more settled and more comfortable with each other as each week passes. I'm very confident positive results will start flowing soon, starting this weekend.

Today's chip wrapper is saying that Vince could be back this week, depending on how risky they feel his hammy is.

Would be a very handy in, I reckon he'd be chomping at the bit to prove he's still got it.

I'd keep Gunston and drop Hendo instead.

Tambling over Schmidt also a possibility, Tambo hasn't been great since coming back from suspension.

Id have Tambling in over the Spud Schmidt anyday.... never rated Chris, good back up but not a week in week out player at AFL level.

Henderson did some good things, did some bad things also thats for sure! does he bring more to the team than Jack? probably does.... IMO

As I've said before, I definitely think Henderson has talent. I just don't understand why he seems to have a 'golden ticket'. He's played the first 8 games and I reckon he needs some time in the SANFL now. Not long, but a couple of weeks, just as Vince & Walker before him.

B: Johncock, Rutten, L. Thompson
HB: van Berlo, Sellar, Doughty
C: Jaensch, Reilly, Smith
HF: Knights. Tippett, Sloane
F: Douglas, Walker, Wright
R: Jacobs, Dangerfield, S. Thompson
Int (from): Cook, Gunston, Henderson, McKernan, Moran, Petrenko, Riley

In to 25: Cook, Moran, Petrenko, Riley, Walker
Out of 22: Schmidt, Tambling

How do people feel about the teams?

Like the look of the side on the field. The only lock on the bench for me is McKernan, raffle the rest.

My bench would probably be McKernan, Gunston, Petrenko, Henderson

Henderson gets a reprieve for lack of a better option.
