Not getting a SG that can get his own shot is killing us now. Both defences are excellent but Miami have more scoring options. Going to be tough to get back into the series now I think.

Next game is HUGE, if miami go 3-1 up series will be over. Reckon chicago can pinch the next one though

Yep next game is the decieded I reckon If Bulls can go 2-2 hey have home court back if not game over! They need a SG that can score, that is what they should be after off-season. Bogans has been off in the series.

True ... I have changed my thoughts on him as a player ten times over this season. But there is no better way to show your worth than when it counts deep into the playoffs

Unlucky for the Bulls, the first team this year to suffer a loss from the hands of Bosh, besides this game he has done squat. On the same note would rate him a tad higher then the Booze. but barely.

Been an excellent playoffs so far. Only thing it's missed is a 7 game series.

Mavs look like they have too much poise and depth for OKC. Dirk has managed to stay unstoppable into the playoffs this year while Westbrook has been more than a little disappointing. I'd love to see the Mavs go the whole way. I reckon they might not drop another game this series. I've always been a big fan of Jason Kidd's, he definitely deserves to be a championship winner. But deserving and getting are 2 totally different things.

Bulls V Heat is clearly the more interesting match up. Heat now with home court advantage and the series lead would surely have to be favourites now though. Bosh finally playing like he's been expected to all year and giving Boozer nightmares. Good thing for Bosh is he can defend pretty well against Boozer at the other end. James just filling the gaps and Wade just knocking down shots. They've swapped the highlights out for a lot of professionalism, and it's hurting the bulls. Shooting percentages suggest the Heat are a mile in front, and I can't see how that changes.

Rose has clearly never been up against defenders who can keep up with him because when he gets to the hoop he's finding his shots are pretty blockable when there's a defender with him. And the Heat have a lot of quick defenders to keep up. Unless he gets that dodgy outside game going he's going to keep going at 40% at best I feel. Rose will get there in time though. Especially once he starts to slow down he's going to have to get wiser and improve that outside game. But it looks like this year is a year too early. Valuable experience though leading a team to conference finals at such a young age if in fact it does end here.

Boozer probably played as well as Chicago could expect him to play in game 3 and still they came up short. Unless they have someone else ready to join in the fun, Boozer's going to have to match that output, Deng's going to have to keep hitting those big 3s and Rose will have to keep taking those under pressure shots near the basket and almost hope a few more shots fall for them, a few less at the other end.

All year long I've had 1 major question mark regarding each team. For Chicago it's been whether Rose, Deng and Boozer are good enough offensively to make up for Noah et al who are more limited. For Miami it's been whether they can have 5 guys on the court Spoelstra can turn to when the game needs to be won. Haslem coming into the rotation has been massive for Miami. Another player who can contribute valuable minutes at both ends really takes a load off. Offense from Bosh, Wade, James, Haslem and Bibby's outside game now means they can have 4 or 5 offensive threats at once. 3 months ago they had 3 at the most.

And finally, that question I had about Chicago's defense a fair while ago, that I didn't think they were in the top echelon with the likes of Miami because I didn't think they could be better defensively when they really needed to be, is also being answered pretty emphatically too right now. Will be interesting to see whether the bulls can prove me wrong in the next few games.

Dirk is so clutch. His performance at the end of the game was amazing, yet another double digit 4th in the playoffs for Dirk.

Dallas win in OT on the back of a Durant turnover and Kidd 3.

OKC were 15 pts up in the 4th but scored just 2 pts in the final 5:05. Dallas looking good for a spot in the Finals now.

Durant 8 TO. to loose that game would have just shatterd the thunder. durant starts 6/7 of the field and then hits 3 of his next 15........ dirk can taste the finals.

Oklahoma will be around for years to come, but they've got plenty they can improve on. To make the conference finals with such a young team and with Perkins only having minimal time to adjust is a good sign for them.

Just beaten by a freak and their own lack of poise down the stretch. For such a good free throw shooting team to not even get to the line in the last 5 minutes enough times to ice the game is a shame for them.

Still not over though i suppose. A young team with a never say die attitude. I can see them getting the next one then its all back on again

The only certainty in basketball is uncertainty. You just don't get that far in front so close to the end without being good enough. Durant draws a few fouls, gets to the line and even Dirk can't save the mavs. But I think that was demoralising for OKC. Probably fired their best shot, at home coming off a home loss and to cough it up is massively disappointing for them. Dallas will want to finish it off at home and sit back and relax while Chicago and Miami slug it out.
