I made this point on the live scores thread, dead set biased.

ever listened to Stephen Rowe or anyone else on 5aa?

As said above, Rowey is in the SA footy market, BT was on national TV.

I love BT, but yesterday was the first time that i have ever muted the tv because of how bad and biased the commentary was. BT was an absolute joke yesterday

Rowey doesnt call on national TV. Im sure they are they same on 3AW

Not the same on 3AW for the pure reason that there are 10 teams in victoria. the better comparison would be the same as 6pr in perth. 2 team towns have a very narrow

Didn't get to see the Collingwood v Adelaide game up here. It would be hard not to get excited about the pies last quarter effort I would of thought, especially if you were a former Collingwood player.

I didn't have a problem with him getting excited in the last - it was his work in the 3rd when Adelaide still had the game well controlled that really game me the shits.

He wasn't calling, he was barracking. There's a big difference. I don't mind a bit of bias seeping in to a call but flat out barracking isn't really on IMO.

IMO the club needs to take a Sir Alex Ferguson/Manchester United approach to Fox Sports and Channel 10 for their disgraceful coverage of this and slap both of them with media bans - no interviews, no questions at press conferences, nothing.
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

The Walker bashing did not ease up after THAT beer
Just about every day heez been in the press for whatever reasons

Taylor Walker was at Glenelg Oval with the Crows players to see the GL V EG match
He was sprung on ABC TV drinking a bottle of water

Neil 'Maverick' Cross had this to say :

"" After all the ridiculous controversy about him drinking a beer and having a sip last week, he is on the water this afternoon.""
Im not surprised gee the kid, just let him play footy.""

He also added later
"" Its just so silly to think that people cant have a life."'

Well said by Neil Cross who is one of the very very best media personalities in SA
He dosent need to make cheap and sniggering shots at footballers as others do

Walker was sitting next to person referred to by the ABC as Rory Sloane
Our local paper has called the same player the Sloan Ranger

Its because of Neil and his cohorts that I really enjoy watching the ABC
Thier SANFL coverage is excellent, they present facts and opinions, and dont stoop to the levels that some of the AFL media indulges in

Hawthorn did this a couple of years ago if you remember, and all that happened was the media made up all sorts of BS stories about them to get even. Journos don't like to have to work, they like clubs to write their articles for them.

Well, I guess some of the media think that way because they don't have lives themselves. Imagine spending every waking moment coming up with stories (true or otherwise) about football.
