Jars taking a one hander from an out on the full kick was classic- Crowd loved it! Bad luck to no.6 for CBC for not taking our wingman home after doing all the groundwork. Harshest tag i've seen in amateur footy, yet still got 2nd best!

We controlled the game for its entirety, which was lucky, because our coach has enough grey hairs sprouting already.

Also, as someone who knows how to tear a hamstring, i don't think tis something to be made fun off. Marshall is still one of (if not the best) Seatons best players, and going off would have had a huge impact on the games result. Sounds liek a good game of footy though, as was expected!

i must watch a different game each week.

How so Flipper? The sole aim of No.6 was to stop our wingman Correct? Did not touch the footy for the entire game, yet Our wingman kicked two goals and set up a few others. Was clearly bog in the first half (where we won the game IMO), and still good in the 2nd half?

Was Flipper No 6? :ymdevil:

Hahaha not No. 6. Uncle Jimmy041 telling u what to say again? Flip didnt play on the weekend.

Cibich only kicked 1. proof your exaggerating. Id be careful using that strategy trying to court the ladies mate might end up in court.

Very clever way of hiding Cibich starting him off at what looks like loose in defence. Your half forward starts up on a wing so the wingers naturally go straight to what they think is their direct opponent but the SMOSH bloke plays more of a 5th midfield role, dragging his opponent away from the space on the wing for Cibich. If u dont pick up on it Cibich can run around with no opponent and all the bloke needs is a little bit of space to hurt you.

He hasn't paid his subs.
all players had until round 6 to be fully financial, this was even extended to round 7 and Charlie is one of 2 A-graders who have not paid or come to an agreement with the club... Its a bit harsh cos he is a fantastic player but where do you draw the line...

Yeah we have big injury problems with already thin depth........ Blokes get injured and rightfully so start contemplating if playing is worth it because of family, work and health.

Was talking with a few lads the other night and the mood at the club is actually quite good. In regards to the Jarmans i honestly just cant see it happening but all it takes is a few 6 packs. Im sure the club will be sending out some SOS's over the coming weeks.

Anyway off to watch Dougie Vs Hegs @ adelaide oval.

Another 5\5 for Piccachu =D>
Whats that 4 weeks in a row?
Was at the Dome sat & early i thought we were going to see an upset result with Pembroke coming out all guns blazing & Portland struggling, Pembroke were 13 pts up at half time.
The 2nd half was all Portland, they started winning the clearances & played alot longer, hitting targets cleaner by hand & foot, far better than the 1st half which was nothing short of diabolical as a result 10 goal to 0 in the 3rd qtr.
I thought Bird was great, he set it up for Portland with some outstanding hard ball gets & moved the ball on quickly, he's a hard nut that lad i like the way he goes about it as with little Upton who went forward in the 2nd half & didn't let his mates down kicking 6 goals, the slow starts must be concerning for the Thunder who won't get away with it against the likes of Mitcham & SMOSH.
This weeks game vs Mitcham will be a real test as i believe Mitcham are the side to beat along with SMOSH.

Had my first look at SMOSH yesterday and they have some firepower up forward this year. Even without their leading goalkicker in Rae, they had too many avenues to goal. Im not sure of his name, but the blonde mop hair lad for SMOSH along with Evans and Mazey formed a dangerous combo and caused headaches for PH undersized defence all day.
Liked Foulis and in particular Netschitowski games yesterday, they gave SMOSH alot of drive out the guts and Netschitowski could have kicked 5-6 and was clearly best afield. I am unsure of his name but the CHB for SMOSH had a great battle with Flynn all day and probably just took the points until Flynn was moved down back in the last quarter?? Both guys are quality players and it was a very intriguing battle.
Like the look of Goodwin, he is a little terrier and never gives up. He Kicked 3 and was best for PH for mine. Also liked Thachs game. Who along with Goodwin and Flynn can all hold their heads high after yesterdays loss. Ran hard all day and provided alot of run and carry by taking the game on and kicked 2 great goals on the run.
PH have alot of passengers and their bottom tier players really struggle to assert any influence on the game.
The ladder is taking shape with SMOSH, Flinders, Portland and Mitcham starting to hit their straps and from all reports it seems a 4 horse race. That 5th position is still up for grabs. but whoever gets it out of Seaton, Pooraka, Para Hills and Pembroke are probably just making up the numbers.

Golden Grove 6.19 Pooraka 19.21

CBC have 5% more percentage then Golden Grove without even winning a game, things are not looking good for Golden Grove

Also forgot to add, I saw one of the stupidest most cowardly acts on the football field yesterday. A PH bloke elbowed the SMOSH player in the head after the halftime siren right in front of the umpire. He was rightly red carded and cost PH any chance of winning. They were down by 4-5 at half time and kicking with the breeze in the 3rd quarter anything could happen, but to be down to 17 men, that was game set match SMOSH. deserves to get a few matches for that stupid act.

Totally agree with your summary of the game, as for the incident after the half time siren, was stupid but looked worse than it really was. The lad should not have reacted to having the ball kicked at him from 2 metres away, still its always the retaliater who gets caught. As for the "C" grade game SMOSH way too good only, but can SAAFL or the clubs please uise a different colour shirt for a club umpire if he is umpiring his first game or in their first year. Would have explained a lot of lets say indifferent decisions. "B" grade game a cracker with the end result not known until 2 minutes to go. With a little bit of luck the result could have easily gone our way.

Also forgot to add, I saw one of the stupidest most cowardly acts on the football field yesterday. Same as you NM, i thought we were in huge trouble early. Pembroke's forwards were grabbing everything and we were under the pump bigtime. I reckon Laslett going back onto #14 for the Kings was the turning point - which in turn put Upton forward. Game over after that.

Big one this week, against the ol' enemy Mitcham. They play well at the Dome, as we play well at their ground. I would expect another close one. Maybe a Laslett vs Rowe matchup could be a highlight ?

Round 7, and we've only played 2 games at home! So many Bloody away games! Thought the game on saturday was our most consistent performance of the year. Par Hills have some good players - Thach and Goodwin were probably their two best saturday. Didn't think Flynn did much besides mouth off to everyone the highlight being Some quality sh*t talking to a guy who'd kick 4 otr 5 goals in 2.5 quarters! Good for us to win without Charlie playing, who took the time to sign autographs for some of his fans in between running water.

The red card was weird. One of the biggest brain fades i've ever seen on a footy field. Supposedly Bamford said soemthing along the lines of 'you won't play A grade again this year' in front of the SMOSH players. The fact that White got yellow carded was laughable.

Good game agaisnt seaton this week. They don'tr come easy in div 3 this year do they!

Yes a hammy would keep you out anywhere from 1-4, depending on the grade.
