Did Ports interstate travelling last week have anything to do with their lack of performance. ;)

Wonder if the media will make much of port cheer squad letting off flares or whether cornes will still think some central fans must of sneaked into the grounds. :D

The flare was an aid to help the magpie players find the goals.

There was a planker that made the 'act' in the centre circle as the qtr was about to start. Security seemed to waddle over.

No-one should excuse last light's "performance", it was inept. But I'll bet London to a brick that it was driven off the back of confidence from the game against East Coast Eagles. Trouble is, confidence needs to be backed up by HARD WORK.

Beenreal,
Don't worry this is your typical Port Adelaide. What a thrill lastnight to see your team beaten I was so impressed with your teams skills and their attitude. See this is what happens when you win too many premierships, you go on a downer and i don't think you will see a premiership back at Alberton for a very very long time!!

WELL done you leggies, let this kick start our year again. Finally starting to see 10' return. Now to put performances like this every week together and we will bring Thomas back to Norwood.

I agree with this. Hopefully our season has finally started, but we won't have the luxury of Taylor Walker for much longer, if at all. Some very good signs as a number of players had their best efforts for the year, but we still have a long way to go. Thankfully, the season is still young.

norwood presentations had bown as bog, then campbell, walker and suckling.
walker may not have laid many tackles but he stripped the ball at least three times in what would not be deemed as tackles but were equally as effective. port, though, were not very good - the amount of times handballs went to player's feet or kicks bounced just short became almost cringeworthy (even for somebody who doesn't mind seeing port get beaten).
always forgive your enemies...nothing annoys them so much

He also chased a Port player for 50 metres, creating pressure and forcing that player to kick out on the full. When he plays for Norwood, I have absolutely no problem with his work rate whatsoever. I just think Craig is trying to get something out of the guy that isn't there.

If Neil Craig was at Coopers last night apart from watching Walker he should have taken notes how a really good coach handles his players. No one every questions Walker's work rate when in the red and blue jumper because he is given his head and allowed to play his natural game ....kicking goals.
Hard to lay tackles when you are leading for the ball, marking and kicking 50m goals.

Great performance by Norwood last night dominated from start to finish, 100pt win just made for a fantastic night. Contest was over by half time and the beers were flowing which I’m feeling today

Campbell was great last night again just love the way he plays hard at it, young Webber plays the same way and is improving. Suckling has been a massive recruit so far playing really well and Bown had a night out 6 goals and a checkside goal to remember, Hopefully we can keep this consistency of performance up and get on a roll.
Our skill level was the best its been so far this season, very clean

For mine Walker didn’t do enough needs to stay with the legs ;)

The next 2 games will certainly tell us how we are travelling, West away & Centrals at home.

Well done to the legs, thought at the start of season may struggle due to losing players to AFL but Nathan Bassett has got the team travelling well and if Taylor plays more games it will certainly help their cause.

Highlights on the news tonight showed Walker kicking a goal and yet again he did not even look at the playe rrunning past in space instead went for goal but it was just one highlight so probably a bit unfair. It also said he was "caught" on camera at footy today having a beer and should not have been as he was an emergencey for the Crows. Give it a break , as if he would have played anyway after playing last night and it may have only been 1 beer big f'n deal and to say he was caught made it sound like he was hiding it ?
Not a fan of him at all but give the bloke a break for christ sake.

Craig is an absolute TOOL to be honest with you, i hope Walker leaves the Crows as they are holding him back.

It's on old fashioned concept called taking ownership. I think there should be more of it. The number of times I see players in scoring positions coughing the ball up trying to pass to someone in a so-called better position

You going to join the media and find fault in everything he does as well?

An old fashioned concept ? Is that right , I call it goal hungry and non team orientated , taking ownership in footy terms means what exactly? Been listening to too much AFL I think , if he misses the goal what would have you said and the same for his efforts at Crows. As for your comment about the media , maybe read my initial post .

Taylor Walker is not goal hungry he is the complete opposite and you may have witnessed one isolated incident out of concept.
Unless you are there for the whole game and have seen every game Taylor Walker has played for Norwood like I have then I suggest you keep your ill informed opinions to yourself.
I dont say this with any malice but just ask you dont make snap judgements based on a quick video clip.

Taylor Walker is a champion but unfortunately he may have to play under a real coach to realise his potential. Sadly Tex may be lost to the Crows before Craig is replaced at the Crows as he should be at the end of the year ...if not sooner.
Football is a game of instinct and great coaches realize this and give naturaly talented players their head. Players with less talent need to be more structured but dont tell the likes of Robran, Ebert, McIntosh, Taylor, etc where to go and how to read the play. Robots dont play football.
