Haven't got scores but that was the 1994 Elimiantion final, Choco's last game at the club.

IIRC we were behind for most of teh day but rallied in teh 3rd qtr to get abck to within a goal at 3/4 time (or we may ahve been just in front). Norwood just ran over us in teh last qtr and we lost by 7-8 goals. I sure A hawk has the scores.

What sticks in my mind is the spray Chocco gave after the game, best spray I've ever heard, bar none. You can still see where the paint has been peeled in the old Change room #2 at Footy park. He didn't miss anyone and by christ everything he said was 100% spot on.

I wasnt there to see it, but I think Norwood flew home late (like in the last 10 minutes) to pinch one off the Bays maybe in the 99' finals series?

That's the one I thought pels was referring to. 1999 1st semi final. The Bays got to a match-high 4 goal lead with about 10 minutes remaining and simply stopped. Norwood started belting the ball far forward in the ruck contests and pick up the ball running forwards. Banged on 6 goals in ten minutes and won the game. I couldn't leave the stadium until I had picked my jaw up off the ground...

Was the '94 Elimination final really a "last gasp" win?

2 games 32 years apart come to my Sturt-supporting mind.
1977 Sturt beat Port by a point at Unley after being 7-8 goals down just before half time.
2009 Prelim Final - Sturt thanks to Matty Jaensch steal the game despite Glenelg being the far better team all day.

Of course that 1983 game was a classic but it is always mentioned in these types of threads so I thought I'd go for a couple of others - true last gasp wins - but I have the last 10 minutes of that 1983 game on video - it's always beautiful to watch !

West v Norwood at Richmond a couple of years ago. Sal Hassan kicked the winning goal with about 5 seconds to go after we were trailing by a fair margin for most of the day.
